I'm about 6 weeks n 1 day prego. Is it normal to have some slight cramping?

Yes, I believe it's normal. It could be caused by a number of things: your growing uterus, your growing placenta, the increase in blood flow to the area, gas, or even constipation.

As long as you don't have bleeding or spotting with it, I wouldn't worry about it.

I found the book, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" to be quite helpful in answering my questions -- I had and continue to have lots of them! Perhaps you could find the book helpful as well.

yes it is----if its slight pain it just means that ur uterus is enlarging---you shouldtn have bleedign or heavy cramping if u do go to the dr. But the slight pain is normal...i had it until i was like 10 weeks prego then it stopped.

I had SEVERE cramping when I was about as far along as you. Totally normal

Not quite sure..but just make sure it's not cramping from constipation, i had that badly during pregnancy. If you think it could be a problem, call your dr. to make sure.

yeah but if it gets any worse at all or lasts for longer than a week go to the doctor...it could be nothing just try to relax

Absolutely! Your uterus is expanding to accomadate your baby! I liked to call it an "inflating" feeling.
