I have a period every other month.. I am not on BC, but my boyfriend and I do use condoms... The last time I had a period was in June. So I should of had one in Aug, but didn't. I have been extremly stressed out about everything in life...and I know stress has something to do with not having a period... I have had lower back pains, some scents really bother me..I have also had an upset stomach like my period was going to start, but didnt..And lately it seems like I can only lay on my back while sleeping.. I have taken several tests, but they all turn out negative.. Does it sound like I am pregnant??

Alright someone asked me how old I am. I am in my early 20s. And I have never been pregnant before, or taken BC or anything..

Okay--here is a remote possibility. If you have a "blighted ovum" -- or a fertilized egg that is not fully implanting, then your body may be producing some of the hcg --which is the hormone that shows a positive test.

But in a blighted ovum, much less hcg is produced, so you may be getting both the pregnancy symptoms as well as a negative result. If this is the case, you will start your period shortly.

But again, it could be a number of things. I can't imagine how much anxiety you have!!

A blood pregancy test, rather than a urine test, can tell you the hcg levels, and truly answer your question.

Good luck and God Bless.

No, it does not sound like you are pregnant. Just stressed out. I would go to your doctor or family planning clinic and get on birth control. Please continue using the condoms as well.
If you can relax and do something fun without thinking about if you are pregnant for a day or two you should start your period. If not go to the doctor and get a blood test. Sometimes it takes 6 to 9 weeks before the HCG hormone shows up. But HCG is detected in the blood stream before the urine.

Stress does play a role in delayed periods. Since you ahve taken HPT and they are all neg. I would give it a week and go to the DR for a test...maybe a blood test. Even if your not pregnant you need to find out why you haven't had a period in 2 months.

Oh yeah! Our fourth child was conceived by a broken condom. It does happen. Our fifth was conceived by a vasectomy that back fired, so chances are you are pregnant. Especially if you have all those symptoms. Certain scents really made me sick. The tests aren't always positive. You should go see a doctor.

I found that stress really affects your period, mine was thrown off many times because of it. But....when I was pregnant I had back pains, scents bothered me and felt like my period was going to start but it never did.

The possibility sounds pretty high that you could be pregnant.

The best piece of advice that I could give you is to see your doctor. If you're not pregnant, it could be something else. Either way, it's best to see your doctor and make sure that everything is fine.

Good luck!

If you are not on BC how come you have your period every other month? How old are you? OTC tests are not always accurate. Go to the doctor.

No, it doesn't sound like you're pregnant. But you might want to see a doctor and find out what happended to your period anyway. What if you have something wrong with your reproductive system?

the most common symptoms in early pregnancy are swollen tender breast delay/difference in menstruation fatigue/tiredness nausea/morning sickness backaches headaches frequent urination darkening areolas food cravings implantation bleeding if your not having any of these symptoms then its very unlikely that you are pregnant and all of the pregnancy test you took it dont sound like your pregnant its probably just stress i'm pregnant and i'm having all of these symptoms but i never did have any implantation bleeding and also when your pregnant you have a very heavy white discharge

Those symptoms could all also come from stress. See if you can so something to reduce your stress levels, and if you don't feel better soon, see a doctor to have your symptoms assessed.
