I mean, can you actually walk (with assistance) through latent & active labor? I am considering this because I want to utilize gravity & walking as much as possible as well as be able to push more effectively.

I know i asked close to the same question last night but this morning I woke up and my blood flow is moving really fast now. It is similar to right after when I just had my baby. By the way the people who didnt read my question last night is I am five weeks postpartum and my period stopped a couple days ago finaly after having it for four weeks straight and now it came back worst than before. I still dont see any blood clots or anything sorry for being so detail but the blood just runs down my leg. I have never bleed this hard before in a normal period. I called the doctor and they are supposed to be calling me back. I was just wondering what you people think. thanks for all you answers

My cycle is 33 days long, today is 23. I'm pretty sure I ovulated on Monday, today I started spotting a light brownish discharge along with mild period like cramping. I've never spotted mid cycle before and I am trying to conceive. My sister had implantation bleeding but I didn't with my 7 year old. This spotting/cramping has been going on all day.Not enough for a pad, just maybe a liner. Has anyone had something like this? Opinions would be great!

I suspect I may have been pregnant and miscarried just a couple of days before my period would be due. Is it possible to miscarry this soon, and if I did, do I need to see a doctor?

My husband and I are considering trying to conceive in about a year. We just aren't fully ready yet. What do we do first? Should we talk to our Dr?

My son is 8 and has never been a "normal" child, whatever that is. He has a really hard time paying attention, especially to detail. You can speak to him and he won't hear you (but there is nothing wrong with his hearing, I had it checked). His grades started slipping in school last year but on a test he scores higher than most kids his age. He speaks in a broken pattern because he can't keep a thought process on the right track and jumps around a lot in his thinking. I have taken him to the doc and a therapist about this but they haven't given me any good answers. Has anyone else ever dealt with this and if so I would like some advice on what works and what doesn't with a child like this. The best advice a parent can get sometimes comes from another parent that has dealt with a similar situation. Please help!

All the time I hear "Let me know if you ever need a babysitter! I'd be more than happy to watch your little one!" But when I call (which is VERY rarely, and usually only when I am truely in a bind) everyone is too busy to actually help. (And mind you, most of these people are military wives who don't have jobs to go to) I've even had a friend say she was going to be too busy getting her manicure to help me out... come on... if it were the other way around, I would get my manicure later and help out my friend... so what gives with the "fake" offers of help? Does anyone else have this problem???

I have been getting some slack for her going to be so early. Please understand that she goes to a Monetsorri pre-school which keeps her busy all day. Her dad and I both work. She naps usually from 11:30-1:00pm so when 6:00-6:30 rolls around she cranky and asking for bed. They are taught sign language at an early age to help the communication gap so she says and signs the words for night night. That is why she is so tired... sorry I should have elabriated on that a little more. Thanks for alll your great words of advice!!!!

Why are people so rude? As most of you probably read my question: “Am I being paranoid or is this true?” While I did get some good and reassuring answers some people just told me they felt bad for my son, meaning I wasn‘t a good mother. I respect people, the way they parent, the problems they have and the questions they ask. Even if I don’t necessarily agree with the way that they parent I always offer my best advice and try not to pass judgment. I’m not perfect not do I pretend to be, but I’m so sick and tired of seeing people writing negative things on here to people who are obviously in need of answers, advice, or guidance! And I don’t get angry if someone disagrees with me as long as they provide something of substance to why they don’t. Yes my parenting style may be different than most, some, or all but I’d never put someone down just for doing things differently. I try to offer solutions not just put something down that isn’t advice or an answer. Obviously something is wrong with society if most are so quick to judge.

I know that you are not supposed to take HOT baths during the first trimester (although the birth defect risk is minor), but I do enjoy a nightly bath. I would say my bath starts hot and quickly cools as I add cold water. My bath is never steamy and I don't let myself get to the point where I sweat. However, short of getting a special thermometer, I don't know if it is HOT or WARM. Maybe what I feel is warm is really hot or the other way around. Again - Does anyone know of a physical guideline that I can follow - presence of steam? sweat? something?
