I have had a few minor contractions if you can call it that, nothing I can't handle, baby seems squirmy It's like it wants to get comfortable and can't, so I was wondering if this is normal? if nothing happens this week they induce me monday!

OKay I want to start buying some winter clothes for my son he is 8 months and his birthday is the end of Dec. But I don't know what size I should buy? Mainly a winter coat I found a really nice one but what size should I get?
Right now he is a 12 month top and jeans is 6-9 month or if it's shorts he can wear 12 months they are just a little long. ( he has short legs)

What are some signs ur body gives before going into labor? BESIDES: braxton hicks, water breaking, baby dropping, mucus plug. I want to hear what some women have experienced & believe to be true signs of labor coming.

He is not allowed to have his cellphone until his midterms come and his grades have improved. He sneaks it and hides it and threatens his siblings if they "tell". He has chores he "forgets" to do. When I remind him, he says, "yes, ma'am", but still doesn't do them. He never has homework, but has failed classes in the past due to many missed assignments. He is 6' and weighs about 205 and constantly bullies his 8 year old brother who weighs about 60 pounds. What can I do??? I DID take him to a counselor last year. He says all the right things. He says he knows he has to do this or that, but, once at home, he doesn't even try. He is the oldest of 5, and has the least amount of responsiblity, due to the fact that he isn't responsible.

I am18 and 35 weeks pregnant. The OB/GYN has told me that I am 3 cm and 75% effaced. The initial test results say that the baby is healthy. My due date is 9/20. What are the chances that I will deliver soon vs going another 4 weeks? Will my baby be in danger if I deliver before 38 weeks?

i may be pregnant but my mom insist i keep taking the pill in case im not. i have a 7 month old baby and i had unprotected sex 4 weeks ago and just started taking the pill 3 weeks ago...if i am pregnnat will it cause birth defects or what?

I am on the contraceptive pill microgynon 30. I have bad IBS so most of the time ı am running back and forward to the toilet. I went to the doctor to ask if it could reduce the affectiveness of the pill and she assured me it was not possible unless I am being sick.
I am feeling really tired and run down and a little bit sick and am worried about getting pregnant.

Am I panicing for nothing or is the doctor wrong?

Well I guess I am 6 weeks now. I cant suck in my stomach hardly at all. I am a chubby girl anyways but this is makes me feel so much worse. I havent had any morning sickness and I feel like I am gaining weight like crazy...im not really overeating. Should I cut way back, almost diet, I know thats not healthy, I just mean something close to a diet. Anyways is it really possible for me to be showing so soon or am I just getting fatter! I dont know what to do, I feel like I am 6 months. I mean if it is possible then I will just let it be but if its me then I want to do something about it quick! Advice please!

my niece wants to live with me, but she can't unless my parents say so, which they won't. her biological mother(my sister) signed her rights away when she was 1 year old. my niece resents her a lot. apparently my sister is trying to gain back that mother/ daughter relationship that she never had. but in my opinion, its too late. my niece said she wants to live with me because she will have more opportunities where i live. which is true. she had a really bad first day of school. (and its my sisters doing). she doesn't understand how being a preteen is. my sister was such a tomboy, didn't like guys, got in a lot of trouble. my niece has crushes on boys, is girly, likes to dress up. but its not allowed to do any of that in the house where she lives. my parents are really strict and old fashioned, and i personally think my mother should take parenting classes to update herself on teens these days.NEED HELP!

Anyone here been on the pill - thought they were pregnant - taken preg test and it been negative and then taken another one and still been negative but later on turned out to be pregnant after all? Also how long after possible conception did you take your tests?

an hour ago i had the biggest stomach ache and my blood pressure dropped. i was feeling very faint. i' have anemia even tho ive been taking iron for the past for months which my doctor doesn't understand y i have it. my periods keep coming later and later every month. the next one is due 8/26 and there aren't any signs of it. i was sexually active 7/21 and the sunday after that. is pregnancy is possiblity? i read before that a women can become anemic if the fetus is taking all the red blood cells, would that be the reason y i keep being anemic while taking iron. also i did take a pre test last month and it was neg. has this happened to anyone? serious answers only thanks

I remember a few times coming home from school and not having my key to get in the house. Hi, i'm a single mom with a 2 1/2yr old boy who is potty trained but refuses to use his potty outdoors - since we live in the country & are out a lot this has become a problem. If he needs to go he just lies on his front & pees his pants.
I know this may sound wierd, but as a mom how can i teach him to pee on a tree for example?
Any advice would be welcome

me and my husband are TTC. my period was due on August 13. It didn't come. And i've been having some pregnancy symptoms. And today i have light red/pinkish blood. So i dont know if this is my period or what. i have some light cramping. Please dont tell me to take a test because i did on August 16th and it was negative. and i dont want to waste my money on another one. Can some one please help me out.
