we used protection and i forgot to take my pill that day. so far im late only a day, but im still worried. im sure the condom didnt break.

my daughter eats 3 solid meals a day, its usually cereal, veg soup and yoghurt/fruit purees. she has no added sugar or salt, I make her food most of the time or use cerelac to thicken the soups. the doc says to let the baby dictate how much she wants to eat but somehow i feel she gets full quickly and wants to move on to some playtime. she is perfect weight, above average height but I was wondering how much in spoonfuls do other babies this age eat. BTW she also has 24-28 ounces of formula. I avoid juices as she isnt too fond of them.

Please don't Judge! I am a mother of 4 girls - Aged: 11, 9, 7 and 6 months and just found out I am pregnant Again! I really don't want more Children... not sure what went wrong but no use wondering about this... has happened need to decide what to do. Normally I would not consider Abortion as an option but I cannot see myself having more children and coping with two babies at once being a working mother. Husband says I must decide what I want to do... I am worried about the effect it will have on me on the long run... and my marriage.... blaming myself, wondering what could have been etc... on the other hand I cannot raise another child! Please help I know only I can make such a decision, but maybe there is someone out there that understands?????

Tricks of the trade, best position, best time? Very irregular cycles due to pcos, so we can't base it off of my period. Baby fever is the hardest thing to get rid of, we've been trying for 2 years and EVERYONE else around us is winding up pregnant......... :(

I just wanted to ask actual parents if you have any tips or info that you wish you had yourself and only learned by having a child.

My wife and I have been all over the internet reading about the do's and don'ts...but those are mostly from professionals.

I'm 23.I delivered my daughter Laura when I was very young,just 14.Now she is 9.Maybe many of you won't consider it as a 'problem' but Laura is very smart,clever...I don't know how to describe it.She is going well at school but when watching crime movies or talking with her father(he is 29,works as a coroner) about crimes she usually find out things that nobody else(her father or his collegues) could ever notice.In fact what Laura find usually helps for solving the cases.Once her dad showed her some pictures of a crime scene and after a minute she asked about a little detail which noone else had noticed.After her father saw the detail and talked to his chief,the case(considered as 'unsolveable') was solved.My husband's chief even wanted to talk with Laura to find out what does she do to understand murders.I don't know how did she became so...good in this kind of...'job' but I don't think it's normal.What do you think?

Do I need to miss a period before I take a pregnancy test - it was 4 1/2 weeks ago since i had sex and did take one after 14 days and it came up negative but im still getting the symptoms and more. Will it show up now? Im on the pill.

My son is due to start nursery in a few weeks, the handbook given out by the school says that boys should be familiar with using a urinal, but as i am on my own James has always sat to pee & dabbed himself afterwards.
I know that when he sees the other boys doing it he may be ok, but is there anyway i could help him first, I dont wont the other kids making fun of him.

This is one of my top reasons for why i don't wish to have my own child.
We all know the world is such a hard place, so why do it?
My mental life has been hard for me. since i wasn't raised in poverty..everyone from a 3rd world country will laugh at me, saying i know nothing of a hard life. But i speak of mental/emotional challenges too. I know my life isn't that hard at all. it's a luxury to some of course.
Whenever i see a newborn i may feel sorry for it. I know that newborn will have a harder time in that new society to come than i have had. Don't you think they'll experience probably worse physical or emotional problems in their life than you will? And yes, that is part of life, so then why procreate at all? All i'd want to do is love that child, but i guess i mean love without the real world discipline..which they say isn't love. I want to see my offspring never suffer, never frustrate, never contemplate suicide, never be lonely. (yes i know i'm idealistic)

Me and some other family members think my cousin in-law is pregnant because everytime we see her, her belly looks bigger. She has a two year old and has been with her boyfriend (my cousin) for about three years, so it is very likely that they are sexually active. What are some signs to know if someone is pregnant? Oh yeah, and I don't think she is just gaining weight because she eats pretty healthy.

after I leave my daughter's Montessori school I usually hang around in the premises to see the kids play in the play ground. it's been 4 weeks now since my 4 yr old started her school. Last week when I left her I was in my car watching her from outside which she doesn't know. I was there a while and it broke my heart that she was playing by herself and trying to talk to one of the teacher. Before she goes in she usually pick a flower from the front lawn and give it to one of the teacher. She's outgoing and love people, but don't know why she's not playing with other kids just yet.

My daughter is 3 weeks old and i think she may be getting too much iron because she is kinda having trouble making bowel movements and seems constipated. was given advice to get the formula that doesnt have iron. any advice? i use Good Start Supreme with DHA and ARA (with iron) would i need to switch her gradually to use the same formula? just without iron? or is it ok since it is the same formula... just minus one ingredient

I met him at a party and I got drunk and passed out. I woke up the next morning in his bed with no pants on. I had a boyfriend at the time and was outraged that the guy took advantage of me. I don't want him apart of the baby's life but I'm afraid that he might hurt me. Even though I don't remember saying yes to sex with him, I think it might be too late to press charges. What can I do to make him leave me alone? Furthermore, I don't know how to tell my boyfriend the baby's not his. I don't think he will believe that the sex was non-consentual.

My son is 4 wks 2 days old and the pdi and I think he may ahve reflux. We're trying to medicate it with Zantac but I still feel hes suffering from it. What more might the pedi want to do? Also he(my son) has a lot of trouble burping is this somehow interrelated? Any other experience driven knowledge about reflux is appreciated.
