Abortion can cause infertility in many ways. During an abortion, the cervix (which is tightly closed to protect the baby) must be forced open, often causing tearing and permanent damage. This can lead to an "incompetent cervix," which will make it more difficult for the woman not to miscarry later. Also, abortion is a blind procedure. The abortionist cannot see what he is doing as he inserts sharp instruments into the womb, and he may easily damage the reproductive organs. For more information, see:

If an RH - is carrying an RH+ baby and the baby's blood gets into the woman's system (as would during the tearing apart of an embryo or fetus in an abortion), it can cause an immunilogical response. The woman's blood will create antibodies against these positive blood types which may, and I underline may, attack the blood of any future babies she carries that are RH+.

In answer, it won't cause you to be childless later, if you have children with a man who is also RH- or are 'vaccinated' afterward. There is a shot an RH- woman can be given, if there's any chance of the RH+ blood getting into her own blood, which will destroy the blood cells of the baby before a reaction occurs in the mother.

If she develops antibodies to RH+, these can cross into the developing system of the next baby's blood and start destroying that baby's blood. Usually, the effects start off minimal with slight anemia or jaundice, but can be greater by causing the baby to die in the womb or shortly after birth.

I'm pro choice, a woman can choose what she want's to do with her body. Regardless of RH Neg or RH pos, even one abortion can cause infertility in some cases depending on where and who does the proceedure.
I haven't heard of RH Neg and not being able to conceive after an abortion, but with RH Neg pregnancy, precautions need to be taken and injections taken in order to be able to continue with the birth.
