My son is 2 1/2 years old and for the life of me I'm having one heck of a time getting him to go to potty. If I put him on it first thing in the morning then he'll go or sometimes thur out the day but he won't tell me he has to go at all. Help any suggestions...And I don't feel like hearing he should be trained by now b/c he isn't.

I'm 14 and I wear thongs; they are so much more comfortable.... not every day of course just days I don't want a VPL. I worked up the courage to ask my father if I could wear them and he said there was no problem. I'm interested in knowing if the public think age 14 is too young? If not, what is considered 'too young'? What should 14 year olds absolutely not wear?

Hi,my name is Hailie and I'm 9.I have a little sister Mellanie,she is 2 years old.We live with mommy,we don't know where dad lives(mom and dad separated when she was pregnant with Mellanie).we aren't a rich family,yes,we have computer but that's because mommy works all day and she cannot hire a babysitter.We don't even have grandparents.Usually she goes to work at 8 o'clock in the morning and comes back at 6pm.It's OK for us,because I really have fun playing with Mellanie.But I have some friends from school and I want to go out with them but I always have to babysit Mellanie and I want you to help me.Please,tell me how can I go out of the house without mommy's permission(I have to be sure she won't know I'm out).I can leave Mellanie for an hour or two,while she's sleeping in her cot(she cannot go out of it without help).And tell me when I go out should I leave anything with Mellanie in the cot(maybe her favourite toy,but anything else?)?

Im usually up with my four month old anywhere from 6 to 8 and shes usually sleep for the night anytime between 8 and 10. The thing is after being up for most of the day I cant go to sleep once she is sleeping.

Im sorry, I forgot that i was talking to EVERYONE around the world. Well in our state we have this "so called law now" that we cannot take photos of our children in a sporting event. Thats how dumb our laws are now, you cant even wipe your ass, and someone has it on the front of the newspaper. We have a lot of pediphiles in this country, yes including preists. but i dont think anyone should take that right away from a parent. Im totally forgot about the other countrys on this site.

Ok so one of my friends is really scared cause i talked with her tonight. She said she might be pregnant or atleast shes freaking herself out about it. Shes been on the pill for a long time.. went off the pill.. and was on it for 2 day when the last time something "happend" between them. There was no condom used but she said he always was sure that he pulled out. She was talking to her mom and her mom says that being hungry and sleepy and tenderness of the breasts is a sign.

Well number 1 the tenderness of the breasts is a side effect she gets often from it she says.

She freaked out about it and is feeling very tired and hungery.. more so than normal.

I honestly think shes freaking herself out and that there isnt a very good chance that she is and shes really scared.. so scared that she will make the right decition next time.

Please help with advice. Thanks so much!

what is the difference between your child being photographed by a modeling agency and having your parents taking photos of you at your sports day. My children are only 3 and 9 months old, but by the time they go to school and have their sports day no one is telling me i cant take photos of them. Im a mother not a pediphile. I think that it is quite pathetic that they can take that away from a child. They will have nothing to look back on or show their own kids what they did when they were young. Shame Shame Shame on you. Why dont they concentrate on the real sickos out there instead of parents.

Im a single mum of 2 little boys and my eldest who will be 4 next week has been diagnosed with ODD and possible ADD... Im at my wits end some days as he will not do as hes told and doesnt take to kindly to time out... (i usually get hit, kicked, bitten and scratched when i use time out) The other thing that worries me is that he will not toilet train, ive tried almost everything i can think of... If you refuse to put a nappy on him he will attack you (like the time out thing) or he will go and steal a nappy out of his 10 month old brothers room and put it on himself... If you take your eyes off him even to go to the toilet he will try and breakout of the house... I REALLY NEED HELP!!!

Ive read that you should contact your Dr. immediately if you have a sudden weight gain during pregnancy, I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and in about 24 hours I have gained 3 pounds, I dont like to contact my Dr. unless I really feel I have an emergency and I am just not sure with this one, I just dont want to overreact, does anyone know if this is normal weight gain?

My sister refused a shower whenever I was going to have it for her. I had bought everything and she said that she was not going to show up and "she don't want it". What do you think? I think that it is awesome and helpful because it is her first baby and my first neice. If she preferred other things then the ones given then she don't have to use them for the baby.

im 28 weeks preg, and every morning when i wake up i have a bowel movement, i have oneabout four times a day? when i wasnt preg i never used to use the bathroom that much, more like every other day? i know its gross but i was just wondering? and if youre going to answer me be kind because its a normal thing everyone uses the bathroom its nature.
