I'm 14 and I wear thongs; they are so much more comfortable.... not every day of course just days I don't want a VPL. I worked up the courage to ask my father if I could wear them and he said there was no problem. I'm interested in knowing if the public think age 14 is too young? If not, what is considered 'too young'? What should 14 year olds absolutely not wear?

depends why you are wearing them, some girls wore then and showed them to get attention, others wore then to be ride of panty lines, I think if you are not a slutty girl, then thongs are fine, just be weary that guys are watching every time you bend over, they may see your wearing a thong and then the madness will begin. SO age is nothing, maturity is everything

I am 16, and I choose not to wear thongs because I find them grossly uncomfortable. Most of my clothes don't give me a VPL problem (by my conscious decision when shopping). The 1 skirt I have that is tight is long enough that when I wear it I wear nothing under it. And it's fitted enough that it wont blow up in the wind.
I think if you are mature enough to think about how you move and bend over, so you are not showing them off, then wear thongs if you want to. Just don't go showing them off bc that's skanky

If you're comfortable with wearing them and they work out better for you, then you're at the right age for them. The only reason anyone would think that thongs should have an age limit is because they've sexualized that particular piece of clothing. They're probably embarrased about and ashamed of the human body as well.
Yes, some girls use thongs to show off and tease guys...hence their risque reputation. But if you're just wearing them because they're comfortable, then enjoy your wedgie. :)

I started wearing them at thirteen, because of the fact that I HATE panty lines. I never went around flashing it to anyone or anything. They're comfortable which is why I like them. I dont see anything wrong with a 14 year old wearing thongs just as long as they arent like trying to show it off.

There is no right or wrong age for fashion. On the other hand, there are fashions you should not wear to certain places, schools, churches, work, et al. You might want tio lay off the piercings and tatoos until you are eighteen. But clothing is up to you. Oh yea, naked is not okay in most places. Just thought i should cover that thought, as well.

thongs used to just be underwear, now they're a fashion statement. if you think they are comfortable and are not wearing them to have them hang out the top of your jeans, i think they are acceptable for a 14 year old.

no i also wear tongs and im 14 they make me feel more comfterble and that s all that matters. as long as they are not visible

Yes thongs are not for teens...just grown women. Anything that a grown woman wears you should stay away from so you do not draw attention to yourself...you are still a kid.
