i would say the week AFTER your cycle
because once your cycle starts, your ovaries release the ovum (your egg cell) into your fallopian tubes... and the ovum start making its way down your fallopian tube into your uterus...

Im not sure how long it takes for your egg cell to reach your uterus for fertalisation, but my guess is definately anytime AFTER you begin your cycle!

Best of luck to the both of you!

The best time is when your ovulating and to calculate that you need to know how many days it is between your period, if your not quite sure go with 28 days it's the norm. You have to conceive before you ovulate, which is usually 14 days after your period starts if you need some help go to mymonthlycycles.com it has a good ovulation calculator and will let you know when to try during the month.

If you are on a 28 day cycle The best time is the 14th day after the first day of your last period. Ex. If you started your last cycle on the first of Aug then you should be ovulating on the 14th of Aug.

Always have sex the day before you ovulate. Do not get up out of bed after sex. Stay there on your back for about 45 minutes. DO not get up and go to the bathroom. Dont put on clothes. Just stay there for that period of time.

To conceive the egg needs to meet sperm. The egg is usually released around day 14 of your cycle. (Day one is the 1st day of your period) The egg is released, travvels down the fallopian tube and if it is fertilised it implants in the womb. It can get fertilised at any point during this jouirney. Therefore have plenty of sex from roughly day 12 to18 to make sure there is plenty of sperm available for the egg to meeet. Good luck.

about 2 weeks into your cycle. Day 1 is the first day that you bleed. When you see clear stretchy discharge, then you should ovulate soon.

if your periods are regular every 28 days then 14 days after period began is when you ovulate. Why not buy and ovulation tester kit from chemist? They can tell you if and when you are ovulating

You should try when your ovulating. They now have test strips you can use to determine when you are ovulating, get some of them.
