i may be pregnant but my mom insist i keep taking the pill in case im not. i have a 7 month old baby and i had unprotected sex 4 weeks ago and just started taking the pill 3 weeks ago...if i am pregnnat will it cause birth defects or what?

Hey, if you have started the pills - accept the fact that all alopathy medicines will have side effects. Currently, if you are confirmed that you have conceived again then stop the pills. If not, then drink good qty. of milk, have curd and other dairy products to slow down the burning sensation which these birth control pills have. All the best lady - I am sure that you have not conceived. These will if taken for two years or more may result in problem while conceiveing the second time; else it will not have birth defects.
