my son keeps hitting me 4 no reason an is yelling aswell it has just recently started . i feel like i have no controll over it and need some advice to snap him out of it , before he think its ok to treat me this way help please.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I'm at least 1 cm dilated. My doctor thinks I'm going to deliver early but I'm not having any contractions. Anyone else have a similar situation?

Maybe you didn't have any contractions until the day you delivered?

Just wondering what other people's experiences were.

They say pregnant women think they can get whatever they want while being pregnant, but my husband and I live in a studio with a really really really noisy A/C unit. He sweats massively with the slightest degree of heat and has to have it running 24/7. The problem is that im a really light sleeper and at night it sounds like a chain saw blazing through the room when it turns back on (set on Auto 75deg) I want him to turn it off at nights so i can sleep peacefully but he complains about sweating and he really does sweat its like a pool in the bed when he doesnt have the a/c on. and family says to avoid ear plugs cause it will mess with my ear wax... what should i do. should i ask again to turn off the a/c at nights for the remainder of my pregnancy? im 5months and in the next month and a half hopefully we'll be moving to a new bigger place with central air... we are in the process of apt and house hunting right now.

We are going on a week long vacation in a couple of weeks. Should we wait until we get back from vacation to start potty training her? For a few weeks now, she's been grabbing at her diaper when it's dirty. And she stays dry for longer periods of time now. We've introduced her to the potty already, so she does know what it's for, but I'm afraid to actually try and potty train her right now when we will be going on vacation soon. I think it would be too hard to start now and continue on vacation in a strange place. What do I do? Should I try now, or wait until we get back from vacation? She will be just over 17 months when we get back. Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

I have a docs apt in the morning about these pregnancy symptoms. I want to be prepared, is there any other condition that can cause symptoms similar to those you experience during pregnancy, I seem to remember a doc in the past telling me about one but I cant remember what it was? I just hope he decides to do the blood test for me this time, I'm sick of not knowing whats heppening to me!

Has anyone had an early ultrasound (like 8 wks or so) that was off by 5-7 days? I thought they were suppose to be pretty accurate. My second u/s dates were off by over 2 wks (at 22 wks gestation) Should I assume that the first one was wrong too?

Why do parents think talking about sex will make teens what to do it & keeping them in the dark will stop them?

Give him some porn magazines and a video, a packet of condoms hell how about a male pill and a sex ed lesson and see if we can turn him straight and want to be with girls.


Oh and in the past people still gort pregant but were taken away to aunty whatsit the 'back steet abortionist' or imprisoned in a magdelen laundry to be abused and tortured...for life where friends were told she had gone to live elsewhere, DIY abortions. Dying in the process or parents saw to it their daughters had 'unfortunate accidents'

Is is bad having sex everyday before, on and after ovulation to try for a baby?? Or should i do it every other day or only around ovulation?? I dont wanna miss 1 day which i could of got pregnant so im covering all my days to make sure. Also im taking pregnacare tablets which are folic acid...can anybody help me??

Hi, My g/f has benn irruglar for a couple of months, she said she was supposed to be having her period in the teens, but it is now the 22nd and we are starting to get worried, esp me, cant sleep eat or drink. She says she gets cramps that come and go but theres nothing. Today she went to go get some pregnancy tests to test herself. Sometimes i think its all this stress that making her cramp but the menstration doesnt want to initiate itself. Idk if its still to early to tell if she is pregnant or if it is just that shes irregular. If you have any suggestions or for some of these reasons please help, Also i may have to add that there was no ejaculation during intercourse.

does anyone know what the procedure is called where the doctor runs dye through your tubes to see if there is a blockage? I was going to call my insurance company to see if they covered the procedure and needed to know what it was called.

So I was wondering if anyone knew whether Bed Rest fell under short term disability and then changed to long term disability or if you are sent to bed rest do you just have to do without your salary. Or does this depend on your company or insurance. We just can't possibly live in our house without both of our salaries (Seattle's cost of living is outrageous, our modest home is 400,000.)

I went to the hosiptal for back pain, and they took a pee test to see if I am pregnant came back neg. this was 2 days ago. I am very reg. on my flow and I don't understand. I have 2 children now the youngest is 7. During my pregnancy with them I never showed positive until i was 7-8 weeks along. Ask Doc. for a blood test to see and he said no any help would be nice.

My 5 mo. son got his first 2 teeth about a month ago. Now his top teeth are coming through and he has started biting HARD. I have breastfed before but his brother was almost 10 mo before he had any teeth and he understood "no" or I would just give him a sippie. My baby right now is too young for that. My daughter is 19 months and is very interested in potty training. She will sit on the potty with out her diaper and go a little bit and when she gets up she will go on the floor. When you put her diaper or pullups back on she will go in it and not try to go to the potty. When she does good we give her a gummy worm. What do I do?
