Is is bad having sex everyday before, on and after ovulation to try for a baby?? Or should i do it every other day or only around ovulation?? I dont wanna miss 1 day which i could of got pregnant so im covering all my days to make sure. Also im taking pregnacare tablets which are folic acid...can anybody help me??

Yes it is bad to have sex everyday. Because it take 24 to 48 hrs for the mans sperm to rejuvate. So it is best to have sex every other day. And sperm can live up inside of a womans vagina for 24 hrs. And you are doing the right thing to go ahead and start taking vitinmans cause they can help you get pregnant faster. Also have your partner to take vitnmans and also have him not wear any underwear. This is a true fact that men that do wear underwear has better sperm than men that do wear underwear. Hope that this helps and good luck.

The folic acid is great but you also need to be on a prenatal multi-vitamin. You should have sex every other day starting around day 10 and continuing on through ovulation. It takes about 48 hours for sperm to regenerate so too much sex is just as bad as not enough. Every other day should cover all the bases for you.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Try resting for ovulation and then only trying on those days I know that it's going to be had but try to abstain. Do this so the sperm count can be higher and better you chances. Always remember the best help of all comes from above. Prayer is always the key!

it is better for u and the sperm to av it every other day because it gives the sperm chance to higher its self again. im trying to conceive and i start having intercourse 4 or 5 days before ovulation and then ovulation day and day after as a sort of insurance. good luck

It's fine to have sex every day if your hubby's sperm is strong, but it takes a full 36 hours for it to regain it's full strength for swimming. I agree, it's better not to miss the right day, but if you're doing it every other day, you wont because you ovulate for two days. Good luck :)
