The earliest a pregnancy test can be taken is about four days before your next period is due but to ensure an accurate result you should wait until the day or day after your next period is due. After an egg is fertilized it takes 6 to 12 days for the egg to travel to the uterus and attach to the lining. Then it takes another day or two for HCG (pregnancy hormone) to be released in your body and that is what the pregnancy test will detect. Good luck.

It all depends on your body. My hCG levels weren't high enough to show up on a urine test until 4 weeks after fertilisation but some people say that they've been able to find out heaps earlier.
Don't be discouraged about not finding out earlier rather than later. I'm now 7 weeks pregnant and sort of loveing it (the headaches aren't too good!) The best advice I got was to treat my body as if I was pregnant, that way no harm will be done to the baby if you do end up being pregnant.
Goodluck!

You can find out as soon as few days before your period but often it doesn't show untill more then a week after your missed period. When my friend got pregnat with her son it took her little over three weeks to get positive result from home preg. test.

Wait a on the same time as. I did a urine try a million week after my era became into due. It became into destructive. Then I did yet another one 5 days later, it had the faintest constructive line. So i went to the medical doctors wanting a blood try yet i ended up doing yet another urine attempt to it became into destructive (this one became into completed at 3pm!). I did yet another try 4 days after that and it became into as constructive as they arrive! i'm now 7 weeks pregnant! It took a on the same time as for my hCG tiers to be readable. A blood try may be able to discover them now, yet in basic terms wait a pair of weeks. good success!
