doesn't matter WHEN you ahve the ultrasound...if you've got a boy in you, you've got a boy. if you have a girl in you, you have a girl. It all depends on that sperm that got in...whether it was an X or a Y.
Now if you're asking about when you can find out what you're having, 16 weeks is the earliest one can tell.
good luck!

well it is hard to say I was told I was having a girl at 20 weeks but she wasnt positive she said it looks to me like which wasnt very reassuring so I went to a 3-d ultrasound place and got told again I am having a girl. Now the nursery is pink and white and looks great for her, The problem is boys genitalia sometimes devolop late though pregnacy so being completely sure is tough. where as if they said you were having a boy most women can see the genitalia in the ultra sound.

If you were told at 25 weeks that your having a girl than you most likely are. I would not worry about anything like that at all. You can make things so much harder on yourself. You are not going to care once you baby is born anyway.

U/S isn't always the clearest way to know. Lots of people have been told boy or girl and ended up with the other. Had sonograms with mine and the picture was as clear as if they had been in my arms. Babies are like a box of chocolates? lol Good luck

Well, it's not like you can change anything... but
If at 25weeks, they said THEY SAW GIRL PARTS, then it's unlikely you'll have a boy. If all they said is "we didn't see boy parts, so we think it's a girl", than that is not a definite enough answer and there is still a chance to be a boy.

At 25 weeks all of the baby's genitals should have been very visable via ultrasound so the results should be reliable. And actually it isn't you and your genetics that determine the sex of the baby it's the fathers sperm that determine the sex.

if they said its a girl most likely it is! I have heard of them being wrong when they say it's a girl but only a few times they are usually wrong when they say it's a boy!
