I doubt it, a college that specifically caters to young mothers. Check with your high school guidance counselor though. I do know that our local community college does have a day care center for faculty, staff and students though, not sure if children have to be potty trained though--it's been awhile since I've dealt with potty training...LOL. Your best bet might be to do a couple of years at your local community college, which will enable you to still live at home, and get support there, as well as take some of the more tedious General Ed courses that all students have to take, and it will be less expensive than "going away" to college. Congrats on your desire to further your education, that will be the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby! Good luck to you!

Many colleges will accomodate you and find campus housing (rather then have you go to a dorm) and they will often help provide daycare while you are in school (if you apply for financial aide.) I would head towards a public college because they are much more willing to help you out (many ultra conservative colleges look down on unwed mothers and may not make the accomidations and may also refuse acceptance to the school for that reason, but this isn't all private colleges.) I know my brother went to a college that said if they caught you having sex you would get kicked out of the school (this sounds ridiculous, but I'm not making this up, it was a Seventh-Day Adventist school.) Good luck in finding a college, I know you will find one that will help you. If you live in the Washington State area I could help you more if you would like.

I am a young mom (had my daughter at 18) and honestly community college has been very ggod to me. in fafact they even have transfer programs to the university I plan to attend next semester.

Also, alot of college now days offer family housing and what not. if you are an awesome student you could probably get a lot of sholarships.

Also file taxes seperate from your parents. this is very important sweetie...listen up okay.

If you have a job, I do not care if you are working 10 hours a week, you NEED TO CLAIM your child. People will try to convince you not to do this.

File independent with a dependent, it DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS OR WHO EVER.

You are going to get AT least $2500 for your refund AND you will qualify for the federal pell grant, which will cover ALL OF YOUR TUITION and books at a community college....AND you get a fefund of like $1500...each semester.

Please do not get screwed over. my mother convinced me to let her carry my daughter the first year I had her. She made it seem like $1000 was all she got and she was going to be nice and give it all to me. Me being young, broke and dumb I said okay. That hefer made over $5000 off of us. And on top of that I COULD NOT GET ANY FINANCIAL AID FOR A YEAR, and she would not pay for college.

I have heard some college students say that there are colleges that actually have daycare for students with kids.Maybe you should do a research online and see what you find.Or call some local colleges and ask. There may even be housing on or near the campuses.I am almost certain that they do and can accomodate you!God Bless~

first you need to have a diploma or a G.E.D before you can go to any type of college. There aren't colleges made just for people with kids. You can go to any college that will accept you, but you are responsible for your child and can't bring them to class. There isn't any college that will let you do that. you could try an online university.

You can go to any college.

The community college in my area offers daycare during the day for a fee.

I went to a college that you could have your children in class. They also have daycare on the premises.

Heritage College in Toppenish, Washington.

They also have a program to help get your GED.

yes there are... i dont think that they regulate who goes there based on if you have a baby or not... i know that you have to at least have to have a g.e.d to get into a college and in riverside there are continuation schools that have a day care for babies whos mothers attend the school and its totally free... but i also know that R.C.C takes people who do have babies, but thats a community college if your interested in that... and fact is, most places dont limit your schooling because you have a baby, well at least in california!
