How long has she been using the patch? If its been less than 3 or 4 months, this could be completely normal - it would be if she were taking the pill. Not every having used the patch, I couldn't tell you for certain. Contact her doctor.

its called break through bleeding. Chances are its hormones. The patch contains hormones like oral B.C. I was on the patch for one year I could predict to the time of day I would start my period while I was on it, until about the last three months. I had a period for three months straight I had to take a hormone called Provera to stop. She can go to her doctor and they will give her a preg. test

absolutely if she has been having sex. no form of birth control is 100% effective. women have their periods all the time when they are pregnant my best advice would be to go and buy a pregnancy test....

Sounds like her dosage isnt right, or else her body is just cycling different. It does that on the pill as well as off it.

Although it is always possible for her to be pregnant.

Birth control can make your cycle be off like that especially if you just start taking it. If you or her is concerned you sould encourage her to see her Dr....it really wouldn't hurt for her to call them adn tell them her symptoms anyhow.
