My 5 week old son has been getting increasingly gassy. I breastfeed him and can hear his stomach gurgle when the milk hits his stomach. He farts a lot and is always trying to fart which is now, as he is more alert, causing trouble with his sleep. I've been told its what I'm eating but I don't know where to start?! Help!

Okay. I have a boyfriend. and We have been together for a little over 3 months. I love him so much and I was to have sex with him. But for some reason I'm so afriad of getting pregnant. I know I can use birth control and condoms but I'm still afriad. I mean I'm still a virgin. Am I stupid for still being afriad? I really want to have sex with him. I love him a lot! What would you do?

I have a daughter who's 6 and we have a special way of disciplining. The first time in a day she misbehaves she gets a warning. The second time she misbehaves she has to stay in the corner(timeout). The third time she misbehaves-I should mention she usually doesn't get to 3-she is spanked with the whip of her choice (choices are belt, hand, clothes hanger etc.) Today and yesterday she has gotten to number three and she keeps saying i am a bad mommy for being mean to her and i don't know how to be a mommy so i'm wondering is my way of discipline good or is it just making her hate me?

My little girl is due in 4 weeks and I can't decide what outfit to put on her for her pictures and to go home in. I have TONS of clothes for her ie: dresses, one-pieces, pants and shirts...you name it and can't decide what to put her in! I am just putting gowns on her until we do the picture and when we leave. Anyone have an opinion?

I have a daughter thats 14 and a sons thats 9. I had them when I was very young (Daughter when I was 18) Now I'm ready to have more kids. I just recently got remarried and its been hard on my kids. Should I have another baby, or should I wait?

Example... You child brings home 3 A's on thier report card, so you take them to Sea World.....or.....Your kid brings home 3 F's on thier report card, so you go to Sea World without them.
It doesn't have to be because of grades, it could be anything, behavior, attitude, chores, etc....
I'm running out of good rewards/punishments for my kids, they are 7,9,11 &13.

I havent worked in 2 years and I am totally ready to work again....my son is 9 months and i am also 21 weeks pregnant again. I would love to stay at home with my son but our finances just wont allow it now. I have no friends or family where I live...they all live 1300 miles away so i have to put my son in a home daycare. I start Wednesday and I thought I would be ok with it but now I'm gettin really nervous and feeling really guilty that Im going to be working full time and only spending part time with my son....plus i feel bad that I have to pay someone to take my son all day that prolly dont really care to have him there. What kind of experiences do you have with this and what did you do to cope with the guilt and worry???

Is it strange that the only thing he says in ahhh, ahhh? He won't say mama, dada, yes, no....he won't say anything. He just reaches for stuff or points and makes noises. When you ask him to tell you what he wants he just points more, and if you keep asking him to tell you what he wants he just gets mad and gives up. My sister and her husband just make matters worse by just giving him whatever he wants, they don't ever try to make him talk. Should he be talking by now or is this normal?

would you do your chores for not even a single penny. just a "thank you" and is it fair that my dad doesnt even pay me after taking out the trash, washing every dish in the house, doing 5 loads of laundry, cancelling my plans to babysit my sisters (for no pay) and getting my sister to take a bath (its not as easy as it sounds) how much would u give me? i just dont find it fair that i have to work for no money. i have to but my own things at the mall and only get money for my b-day and christmas.

I have been offering her small pieces of foods but she wont chew them, she simply swallows it. I am really trying hard to make her chew food, but she is not at all cooperating. I checked with the child's pediatrician and all she says is to keep offerieng her solids.

Are there any moms out there having such a kid? Or have you heard of such a issue with a 2 and half year old. Is this a something to worry about ?

Please advise.

Other than this issue she is a above average kid both in physical and mental deveopment.
