MY FRIEND JUST HAD A BABY ABOUT A MONTH AGO. SHE'S A SMOKER. WHILE SHE WAS PREGGERS SHE REALLY DIDNT STOP SMOKING. THANKFULLY THE BABY CAME OUT OK. SHE WAS THINKING ABOUT BREASTFEEDING, BUT I TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULD NEED TO STOP SMOKING AND SHE WAS LIKE WHY?. I TOLD HER ITS LIKE SHE'S GIVING HER BABY THE NICOTINE AND I THINK IT ROTTS THE BABY'S TEETH AS THEY GET OLDER. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE TRUE EFFECTS ON A CHILD IF A MOTHER BREASTFEEDS WHILE STILL SMOKING BESIDES THE BABY HAS NICOTINE IN ITS SYSTEM?

for the last past couple ofmonths my nipple on my breast has been so sore that I cannot tounch the nipple to hard, and when Iam in the shower and I go to wash them they hurt, Can someone tell me the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not went to the doctor yet to see if I was pregant, but in some cases I think that is the problem I maybe pregant, but I don't want no child.

My son's turning four next week, and I 'm hesitant about sending him to school and should br having a baby aroung the time he starts and I don't have a car and schools are too far. Should I send him anyway or could he wait till he's five?

My body is mine. What gives ANYBODY the right to tell me what to do with my body. How would you like it if I tell you what to do with YOUR body based on my personal beliefs and convictions even if there is no proof of what I believe. How would you like it if I told you that you had to live life a certain way just because I believe a certain way. I personally don’t believe in the bible. I think it is a nice little book (which I have read more than once straight through). I see too often people killing each other and telling people what to do with what is not theirs just because of their personal interpretation of the bible. I AM GOING TO GET AN ABORTION whether you bible thumpers like it or not. You have NO RIGHT to tell me what to do. You have the right to state your opinion, but THAT IS IT. It is legal where I live. Ironically, I have already had 3 people put in jail, one for more than one year because of their tactics in trying to get me to “see their way” about abortion.

When I woke up this morning I felt soo sick and spent the better part of my day in the bathroom. I have a almost 10 month old but lucky for me, my husband has the ability to call into work to take the day off to help me with our baby well I'm stuck on the toliet.

I'm sure many of you can relate, I was just wondering how everyone else deals as I'm sure not everybody can have their husband take the day off of work to take care of you and the baby?

that is almost 5 months. I just don't know what to do. I care for her. We have been frineds the first 12yrs of our lives, and now, she barely will even wave. I am throwing my sister a baby shower in September. Because this is her 2nd child, she just wants everyone to bring things like bottles, diapers, wipes, etc. I don't won't to be rude though. I need to cute wording for the invitation. We are calling it a "sprinkle" shower if that helps.

I'm 19 and 3 month pregnant, my bf lives 3600 miles away and is 28, I made a big mistake and lied and said I was on BC, now I'm pregnant. First he demanded I get an abortion and I nearly did, but could not go through with it. Now he demands I have to move out there and I'm so depressed because I don't want leave here. He tells me I wrecked his life and I'm selfish and I know I am, and I'm sorry , but if I go and leave all my family and my home I'll be so unhappy. I asked him if I could bring my dog with me and he yelled at me and said No. I don't leave everything what can I do?

Whenever I ask a question about something I need to figure out & it has to do with my baby, there are people who tell me to ask the father & when I tell them there isn't one they shake their head in mock sorrow, ask why I didn't "wait for the right one"(or say, "we all make our own choices & then we have to live with them"), & I can tell by the looks they give they assume I'm inadequate, or worse yet, a "welfare mommy". Why do a lot of people assume all of this without stopping to consider the possibility of rape? I never 'chose' to make a baby...a choice was made for me, my body chose to form a baby, and I chose to let her live & love her. If so many rapes are happening every day, why is the possibility of rape pregnancy so overlooked?

Not only that but his tone is very disrespectful. I would like to teach him that he can have a voice but he seems to take this freedom and run like hell with it. I don't want to squash his freedom of speach but i feel like i have to just to have a conversation with him. I told him yesterday that every time he starts argueing with me i will make him go to his room whether or not he has a valid arguement. Its so hard to have a discussion and explain to him why he is wrong and i am right when his tone is so rude!!! And its hard for me not to be rude back wich just escalates the problem. Any suggestions?? No spanking, no time out, they don't work with him.

Everyone in my family dosent like this name and this wasthe name i was going to chose for our unborn baby?What is wrong with this name? My mom says that they will tease the child if we name her constance but my husband says that at one point or another she will be teased in school reguardless of the name and it wont matter when shes a grown up with a good job.Would you chose this name or not?
