You're not 17 one of your questions says you're going into the 8th grade so that doesn't add up that makes you from the ages of 12-14. Anyway the clitoris is solely for sexual arousal something that you'll learn about when you get a little older!!!

Don't even think about it. The clitoris is very sensitive, and this is not an advisable piercing for most women. Anatomically, the clitoris has to be large enough to support the body jewelry and avoid being constricted by the clitoral hood tissue. Piercing a clitoris that is too small could result in serious nerve damage as a result of improper placement. The larger percent of the population of women are not suitable for this piercing.

When you look at yourself down there, your vagina should resemble a "hot dog in a bun" If you think of it that way, your clitoris would be the hot dog part. The part you're looking at will actually be the hood of the clitoris, which covers it when you're not aroused. The clitoris is basically a little bundle of nerves, which, when caressed, stroked, or licked, will cause arousal in a female. You'll see the actual clitoris if you pull up the skin of the hood.

Well, I'm going to say that it affects the nerves and causes loss of stimulation too. It just can't work, it's like "science" tells us it would be no fun at all, and decreases sensitivity and pleasure. A good man should be able to trip the switch and focus on the G-spot as well.

It's the knobby bit under the hood above the opening of the vagina. When you are aroused, it will swell slightly. Rub on it for a while and you'll know what it's for.

It's not really "around the vagina". It's above the vagina. It's a little bump that is covered by a flap of skin. If you touch it, you'll feel sensitivity & perhaps pleasure. That is it's only purpose (sexual pleasure). It is like a woman's underdeveloped version of a penis actually.
