You can become pregnant anytime you have unprotected sex. My mom in law conceived with my husband the last day of her period.

Ovulation typically occurs 12-16 days BEFORE your next period is due (ovulation determines when your period will happen, not the other way around.) If you have short cycles and long periods, then yes, you could definitely ovulate shortly after your period is over (and even get pregnant from intercourse that occurred during your period.)

No, ovulation and menstration are controlled by two different hormones within the body. Estrogen, the hormone that leads to ovulation must build up within the body causing the LH to surge which initiates ovulation. Progesterone (another hormone) must drop drastically to initiate your period. So as you near the end of you period, there isn't enough Estrogen to cause ovulation. Ovulation on average occures about 14 days after the first day of your period.

It happens, but it's not really "normal" because the time between a woman's period and ovulation is used to prepare the uterus for implantation of the fetus. The uterus goes through phases where the tissue proliferates and special glands are formed for the nourishment of the fetus prior to the development of the placenta. Of course, if everything happens "just right", you can still get pregnant if you ovulate following your period.

For some women yes. Women's cycles range in length. There are women who have 21 day cycles. So if their period were say 7 days long then they would most likely ovulate around day 10. 3 days after they got off their period. So it just depends on how long your cycle is and how long your period lasts.

It's less common than ovulating on the 14/15th day, but it happens. I know a couple that tried to get pregnant for a couple of years and finally had sucess when their vacation happened at the same time as her period. Determined to not let something like a period ruin their vacation they ended up pregnant.

I took ovulation tests final would whilst i became TTC and not as quickly as have been given a good and took them precisely whilst i became meant to. i such as you had widespread standard classes.. never as quickly as did i'm getting a good and that i've got been given pregnant that month.. those tests TO ME are a brilliant waste of money and don't continually even enable you be responsive to once you're ovulating. i'm optimistic you're high quality yet i think of this is obtainable to get a era with out ovulating, yet to have your era be widespread its uncertain.. while you're fairly apprehensive it could be whats inflicting you to no longer get pregnant.. you need to confirm a physician so they'd examine your hormone ranges and in spite of different tests they do just to re assure you.. i became no longer getting pregnant the two and then I had a pair of miscarriages and that i became scared something became incorrect with me, I went to a fertility healthcare expert and interior of two months i became pregnant. Its very almost like being informed i became completely ok became all i necessary

The average time of ovulation is the fourteenth day of an average length (twenty-eight day) menstrual cycle. It is normal and common for the day of ovulation to vary from the average, however.

It isn't common, but it is normal. Some women have even ovulated (and become pregnant) DURING their period.
