Some women notice some mild abdominal cramping midway through their first trimester. This is a very common experience and may continue for several weeks. The cramping is usually mild and does not cause any harm. Your physician may recommend you rest and stay off your feet if you are having abdominal cramping. Remember that your body is also accommodating a growing fetus, and your uterus is stretching, a process that might cause some discomfort over time. If you have any unusual abdominal pain or cramping however that is persistent and worrisome, or if you experience any cramping accompanied by bleeding be sure to contact your healthcare provider's office right away.

Yes, it can be normal depending on the amount of blood. He could have just loosened something up or was a little too rough with you. Watch it though because you are pregnant. If there is a heavy amount of blood or loss of pregnancy symptoms I would go to the doctors right away. Spotting is also very normal during pregnancy. I would call your OBGYN and let him/her know about the spotting. If they are concerned they will ask you to come in, if they aren't, then you will know not to be concerned.

Extra care should be taken while having sex during pregnancy as it can turn into a nightmare resulting into the fetus dislodging from the womb (I don't mean to scare you! But there can very well be a possibility if not done with care.)

Blood can mean many things; one can be that the fetus has been disturbed (read dislodged) during sex. So, you need to immediately see a gynaecologist to know the exact cause or may need to go for Ultrasound to see if the fetus is alright and is attached properly.

Consult gynaecologist to know what all sexual positions you two should use to minimise the risk.

These sort of things sometimes happen, but if I were you I would go straight to my doctor, I wouldn't take any risk in my pregnancy. Sometimes the smallest thing can mean something huge!

Most other provinces have a similar service, you could find it in your blue pages.

It's not uncommon, but could be the sign of a problem. Talk to your doctor asap as you don't want to take any chances. I hope all is well.

no its not normal. u might have friable cervix which means sensitive cervix or u might have chlamydia which irritates ur cervix making it bleed especially after sex. go get a pap smear done and its most likely that.
