I just survived my freshmen year and here's some stuff that may come in handy. .. .
1. Friendships are tested to the limits in high school, you'll soon learn who your true friends are.
2. Update your wardrobe a bit, keep it stylish and yet comfortable and ready for anything. Also you may want to start wearing a bit of makeup if you haven't yet.
3. Follow your interest go for things that apply to you and your life.
4. Spend loads of time with family and friends
5. KEEP YOUR GRADES UP!
6. Join clubs!
7. Try to learn to speak to crowds, you'll be doing that a LOT!
Well thats all I can think of for now.. . .

Go to class and prepare for College. This is the time that colleges really start looking at students for academic and athletic scholarships. Prepare for the SAT's. The best advise I am going to give you is to enjoy your high school years. This is the time in your life that you will always look back to. Mistakes will be made, but oh well. Never do anything that you wouldn't want your future children to hear. Be true to yourself and your beliefs. Don't be crushed by peer pressure. Don't worry about anyone else that is going to your school. Every new high school student is a little nervous but hey it is just another school. You have survived up to this point. I would look into joining a group or a club that interest you. Good Luck and have fun.

Iam starting high school too next week and i think the best thing to do is just be yourself and don't worry about all the drama that the older chicks mostly will being trying to start with you just be yourself and don't try to get a bad rep by hanging around the wrong people that well get you into alot of trouble. You just need to be You and don't let anybody change it boy girl teacher or even parent because that got a chance to grow now you need the same thing. Have fun

Well be yourself that's what high school is all about. I was nervous about starting high school but its awsome b/c you have more freedom, don't worrie just have fun find a boyfriend. The main thing you need is a bestfriend. They help you with everything and it makes it so much easier.

I know you will hate to hear it, but "be yourself".
Dress in a way that is stylish, yet comfortable and not suggestive.
Be open, but don't overshare.
Pursure YOUR interests because YOU want to, not because of a crush or friend.
Pay attention to the schoolwork, the grades help with college.
Party, not too hard.
HAVE FUN! Just be safe, don't do drugs and stay clear of drinking and driving. Be smart.
That's my advice. I'm halfway through high school and it's done me loads of good so far!

The first day is the hardest. You won't know where your classes are or your teachers. But after the first day things will be easier. As far as making friends, be yourself. Have as much fun as possible but make sure that you keep up with your studies. Do what you need to do. Join some clubs that you think you would enjoy. Get involed.

go to school to learn first of all...but ultimately, BE YOURSELF! do the things that interest you (band, cheerleading, sports, etc. ) because that's what interests you, not because other people are there. where the clothes that you like, but make sure they follow your school's dress code. just be involved with the activities that go on there....sports games, dances, whatever. those are GREAT ways to make friends.

Bow down to the upperclassman, stay in your place. Focus on your education. Screw the social scene.
