Well it oesnt really matter anymore because he lives in ALABAMA and long distance realtionships dont work out very well. Also, if you dont want things to get wierd between the two of you then i would just stay friends and not tell him anything. But if you want to be honest then you should tell him but he might ask why you never said yes when he asked you out...which is a good question???

Yes tell him the truth, you never lose out doing that!
It can earn you a close friendship!
And hey what does distance matter! You like him .. and he liked you! and probably he still loves you. Nowadays you have skype, messenger, A PHONE! You can share everything, because now you will have lots more to tell each other. He will tell you about life in Alabama, school in Alabama, his friends, the place, ... and you will share the latest school news and bloopers with him, you'll have a wack!!
So tell him, you have nothing to lose out, he will feel close to you! And know that he has somebody to depend on!
Keep smiling, Shiry!

Sure tell him. If he rejects you at least you won't have to face him on a daily basis. He is in another state.
But if he feels the same the relationship is going to be a hard one to maintain, because you are both in different states. Stay good friends and maybe one day you will be able to have that relationship..

Why would you not go out with someone you like? Of course you should tell him how you feel! Tell him that maybe you guys are "kindred spirits" and someday you can really be together and for now, keeping him as someone to flirt with and talk to is the best route!

Tell him you have feelings for him, but just don't elaborate too much. you also want to drop hints as to your feelings (lead up to it) but try to be subtle about it. and remember it is a long time between 7th grade and adulthood so there is no rush to grow up. The worst thing you can do is rush into it with any expectations.
