My spouse is wanting to take off work a couple of weeks early due to expecting a baby. She has already filed her paperwork under FMLA. Can she take off to prepare for birth? Her employer is denying her to take off earlier.

My sister will be having her first baby soon (a baby boy) And I'd like to get something nice and special for her or the baby. I dont just want to get any ol gift,or something common but something really special. To add I dont have lots of money to spend coz i'm still a student. any ideas would be a great help! thanks!

Hello I have a 3yr old son that to honest doesnt listen to a word me and his mum says Its like the other day he thought it would be good to unlock the front door and disapear for 2hrs which scared the hell out of us but we found him at the police station but when all that was finished we sat him down and spoke to him before we put him to bed and told him that it wasnt good to do that so the day after we fitted extra locks on the doors and also started to take the keys out now but he still trys and gets out now i feel as a parent i have failed some were along the line of parenting also when he gets up in the morning we have told him to wake me or his mum up but he doesnt listen then he goes down stairs and totally wrecks the house i.e he puts a full bag of sugar all over the floor etc things like that I just dont know what to do anymore so if there is anyone out there that can help it would be much apriciated thanks D.Hudson

My "mother in law" threw her mini pincher a bone while my baby was playing with him. After he bit my son she told me that he was fine, but itook him to the ER b/c the dog broke the skin. The hospital seemedtobe overwhelmed and basically gave me some antibotics for three days and told me to wash his hands good until it heals. They ask if the dog had his shot and I said yes, but I just found out the dog belonogs to her son who seems to do little for the dog. I am just going to assume he has no shots, what do i do now? What will my son have to go through now?

When does birth control pills start taking its course when first taken? I had unprotected sex one week after starting on birth control pills. I'm more concerned about a 2nd unplanned pregnancy. My body is changing, as far as the way I feel. Could be the pills. Took a pregnancy test and results were negative, but I should get my period in the first week on July. Does that make a difference to the results of the pregnancy test? Worried!

I am thinking about taking a teenager on our vacation with us. I basically want her there for when the baby naps, so she can go back to the house and stay with her, and also to watch both kids for an occasional dinner out. I have no idea what to pay for this.
