When does birth control pills start taking its course when first taken? I had unprotected sex one week after starting on birth control pills. I'm more concerned about a 2nd unplanned pregnancy. My body is changing, as far as the way I feel. Could be the pills. Took a pregnancy test and results were negative, but I should get my period in the first week on July. Does that make a difference to the results of the pregnancy test? Worried!

The 'rule of thumb' is to wait for 3 months for the pill to get into your system HOWEVER, in reality from the first pill (if you take them EVERY DAY and do not miss, skip etc) you will be more protected than you were.
Pregnancy test would be negative still if your period isn't due for 2 weeks but also you wouldn't be feeling any body changes either (pregnancy related)
Pills can cause different reactions and even the same pilled used by the same woman but at different times in her life can cause completely different reactions so I think it would be safe to say your body is reacting to the pill and you are not pregnant.
Stick with the pill.

It takes 3 months of daily pill usage to be protected. Depending on how soon after the unprotected sex you took the pregnancy test, you might have a false negative because your urine would not have enough of the chemical required to produce a positive test (but you would be pregnant. The best bet is to either do a blood pregnancy test at a doctor's office or clinic, or to just wait until your period. Try another test in about a week just to give you a peace of mind if you don't go for the blood test.

If you're on Orthotricylen lo, I know that the instructions for use included in the pack explain things very well, as does their website.

it usually takes 30 days to be sure. the pills should have no effect on the pregnancy test. The pills could be changing your body. Stress can make you miss your period and make things even more stressful. vicious circle. The pills should not make you feel sick like you are pregnant though. In order to have an accurate home test, you need to be at least two weeks pregnant. May you be blessed with the answer you desire regarding more babies. much luck and blessings.

My doctors always told ne after being on birth control you have to wait at least 2 weeks before it kicks in fully. As for your pregnancy test, if you are pregnant your body may not be producing enough hormones to give a postive result retest a little closed to your peroid start date.

Well...your doctor must have told you that you need to use another form of BC the first 2 months so yes..there is a chance that you got pregnant. You should stop taking them and see your doctor because taking the pill while pregnant could cause damage to the fetus.
