I've got my 12 week sacn in a week tomorrow but I'm really concerned as I've had no symptoms other than sore breasts which subsided afew weeks ago now. Is this normal?

I don't want her to watch so much tv, but that does help out a lot. what else can she do when she's at home? Anthing besides coloring? She drives me bonkers at times..but hey, I still love her and think she's cute!

I had my son on Wednesday and then a tubal ligation on Thursday. I came home Friday afternoon and by evening time, my ankles and feet had swollen. Is this normal? The swelling seems worse than when I was pregnant and I'm having a hard time getting it to go away. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

when she gets sooo fussy and sticks her mind on one thing and that thing has to be got for her, like around 10 pm she suddenly wants a pair of roller skates...I keep telling her I'll get them after sleeping but she keeps repeating and repeating and crying...all I do is silently look at her until she calms down and forgets the issue...

my eleven month old son has a 101.1 temperature, and his cold medicine isn't helping. he's never fussy, but he started crying, he's got runny nose and a deep chest cough. can anyone tell my other things to try other than medicine, or if I should take him to the hospital?
oh, and what is the average fever when your supposed to take your baby to the hospital?
I'm really worried, please someone help me quick!

My son is 2 1/2. I signed him up at 18 mos. for speech therapy through Early childhood Intervention . I've had his hearing tested, taken him to a neurologist, taken him to a speech pathologist etc..
He says some 2 word sentences, like ...daddy fix...its mine..my puppy...
He says around 75 or more words, but not all are understandable.
My question is about speech therapy. He will start at the school this year when he turns 3. Right now he has someone come to my home once a week.
Personally I don't see that he had benefited from it. I assumed he would be taught to make certain sounds or say certain words etc... She reads him a story ...and tells me things like "When you take him to the store you can point to things and name them"....Duh? really? I have 2 grown kids as well as a 14 yr old. My husband has a Masters degree in Education, so I believe we have the intelligence to point to the apple and say "Apple".
It seems more parenting advice... than speech. What is your experience?

I HAVE THIS FRIEND WHO IS 12 WEEKS AND STILL SMOKING. SHE SAYS THAT SHE IS GONNA QUIT NEXT WEEK COLD TURKEY. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF QUITTING JUST LIKE THAT WILL HURT THE BABY. im 5'4 and a 1/2 and i weigh 120 pounds. is that too much?
oh yeah and for the second part my best friend is 5'7 and weighs 165. is she overweight? cuz she keeps on saying that and im getting quite tired of it

i have 3 kids throughout a 10 year span.my first at 22 my last at 32.im now 33.there's a 7 year 8 month age diff between my last 2.anyone else have an age diff this long OR LONGER??
