I can't help it. I LOVE babies, but I'm always afraid I'm holding them wrong, especially if they start crying, I'm talking about the new born ones...

I was really nervous holding babies before I had one.
Now I'm okay with them.

Never, but then again I had one of my own many (many) years ago. I couldn't wait to get my hands on my grandsons when they were born. Practice. The more you hold babies, the more comfortable it will feel to you. (And, they smell sooo good, don't they?)

Very much so. They're so fragile. But, i found that when I became a dad, a lot of that fear went right out the window

yepp, i was nervous when i first held my niece....coz she's so small, and she can't even hold her head up....i luvv babies too and i love holding them....but you're right it does feel scary at times...i think its okay to worry when you hold them, and if you hold newborns a lot, you'll realize that its not so hard at all...i learned through my niece...i hope this helps!

only that I am never quite sure how to hold them properly and support their neck.
I generally just dangle them by a foot so they are all in alignment
