it took an adverse effect on their life?

I'm not sure why wire tapping is such a hot issue. I can see if it was really having an adverse effect on the innocent population or if there were case after case of the abuse of this authority, but I just don't see that.

I am all for smaller government and the right to privacy... I am also all for the protection of our nation and doing what is necessary to achieve that objective.

Look, they have had the ability to tap any line they want for a really, really long time now. Because authority was granted to do it without a warrant for SUSPECTED FOREIGN TERROSRISTS why is suddenly a huge issue? And people claim.. well they won't follow the rules and they will begin to abuse the authority... my question is... if they aren't going to follow the rules what makes you think they haven't been doing that for years? How does the new authority change anything? And, if they do follow rules, which they do, then only terrorists are affected.

Something like 'If you can't take care of your own family problems , then how do you expect to take care of the nation' .

She does have a point there . And she does make more sense than Mrs. 'Stop exposing my husband' Edwards .

6 out of every 1000 babies dies from avoidable issues in this country. Usually because an insurance providor wouldn't pay for a rcedure or an exra day in the hospital. A disgraceful statistic given our wealth.

but most of the rich don’t have insurance, either?

My second question: Do the uninsured still receive good medical treatment, as most hospitals in the U.S. cannot legally turn down treatment of the sick?

Then why isn't the rest of the world HELPING ?

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it was also dangerous for American mine workers to go down in a compromised mine and risk their lives to save others !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every American Police Officer and Firefighter to go to work everyday !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every unarmed aid worker to help people in other war ravaged nations !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's always dangerous to confront murderers . But don't we do it anyway !!

Dangerous ? -- Huh , none of us knows the meaning of 'DANGER' unless you've spent some time in Iraq like perhaps THE U.S. ARMED FORCES AND OUR ALLIES !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh Yeah , . . . . . But This Reeks Of COWARDICE !!

I say it's high-time to 'call-out' the rest of the world . Enough blaming the United States , it's time to blame the cowards !!

What Say You ?

if you are so outmanned and outgunned, and you are in charge of defending your country, what would be your strategy.

(this is a hypothetical strategy question...and is not indicative of any ongoing conflicts in recent history or currently going on)

2 years after the flood, and less then 25% of the city has been rebuilt. tens of thousands still live in fema trailers, whining and complaining, instead of rebuilding their homes. Texas and the Midwest had massive floods, damaging thousands of homes, and none of them are whining. They are ALREADY rebuilding, just days later. No fema trailers, no crime, no looting. I think we should turn N.O. into a landfill, and anyone still in trailers 2 years after the storm can be buried right with the city. Sound good to you?

If Hillary Clinton was in office. Imagine that she could listen to anybody that she wanted to. Her friends and especially her enemies and use the information anyway that she wanted. All you have to do is say Iraq or Iran on you cell phone and red flag. Don't worry, nobody is talking about those subjects. She is saving lifes by exposing peoples dirty secrets. Heck, bill would get passed in a week. That sounds great.
