Or is the monarchy winning, instead? Evidence doesn't seem to support that conclusion!

.....after Reagan left office"??? So says another Y/A member. Would that be the much touted economic boom in the '90's when Clinton was President?? Or is it now, when things are even better which has already been "blamed" on Bush?? I'm trying to make sense of all the double-talk.

I think Quail Boy (Dick) should resign or be removed from office!?
He shot his friend in the face!
It wasnt even real hunting, they stocked the place with 1000 quail from somewhere else and put 'em in one place so the Vice President can hit 'em.

He STILL missed!

How did he miss, they were all there for him!!!

Just a wild thought. If he thought he could get a fair trial whether he is guilty or not he might be willing to turn himself in in order to go on trial. Lots of things will change with a change in government. Really no one has heard the side of Al Queda. Their story has not been heard. Right now the way of the current administration is to kill or silence. We really only get one side of the story of 911 and the hate against America.

Do you think Osama would give up in order to be heard so long as Bush and company doesn't have control over the military and the judicial system?

Is it even hard to do something politically shady. Are there already alot of watchdogs and dirtdiggers from other parties that make it hard for them to do wrong.

What are politicians doing these days to actively show they have nothing to hide? What are they doing to change the opinions of their jaded constituents and citizens in general.

Nearly a million for two washers, $20 million plus in fraudulent billing from a two woman operation. Any wonder why neocons love war so much?

Yeah, I know. It's from "Liberal" Bloomberg Business--not a reliable source like Fox News.

Do Republicans really care about anyone but themselves?

Is it every man for themselves on this Earth?

2007-08-19 18:02:45 · 21 answers · asked by Anonymous

Most republicans I have heard talk on this matter seem to always say its the responsibility of the states. Ok. Lets assume that I agree with you on that. How will the states pay for it. Ok. Lets assume you say that the federal government gives the states money for it, but that the states squander it on other things. If that is your view, can you tell me which programs the states should eliminate to help fix the decaying infrastructure? and lets assume you give me a list of 2 3 4 or 5 programs etc that you would eradicate to fix infrastructure a) what will those who benefit currently from those programs do in their absence, and b) what happens to all the money that the federal government collects in taxes if most social spending is the states' responsibility. Does the fed govt get to pretty spend that money at leisure and waste it...while the states pile on tax payers with additional taxes?

...but to also favor social welfare programs that benefit less fortunate?

Isn't it contradicting when Democrats say it's ok for women to have abortions when the mother knowingly can't provide for the child financially but is pro social programs, such as welfare, which gives the underprivileged access to entities which supplement low income families effectively giving them access to resources they wouldn't be able to provide on their own financially?

Simply stated, How can Dem's support both?

You don't really think the wealthy powerbrokers of this country leave these things to chance do you? LOL!

They wouldn't be that wealthy and powerful if they were that foolish!
