Conspiracy theories are the realm of aluminum foil hat wearing lunatics who forgot to take their meds. They abound on both ends of the political spectrum.

I'm a lib and I don't believe in conspiracy theories. I just want to get to the truth. How wrong can that be?

What conspiracy theories? You mean that Bush caused 9/11, or Bush wanted Katrina to destroy New Orleans to get rid of the black voters, or Bush went AWOL in the military and he's desperately trying to cover it up, or Bush rigged all the voting machines in 2004, or Bush stole the election in 2000? Those are facts, mister, not theories.

You have the conspiracy theories which unfortunately most don't hold water or are so full of holes you could drive a tank through them!

Maybe us Libs have a better reasoning power than to buy BS that we know is BS! The administration has been caught in so many lies the attorney general gets amnesia and can't recall anything and Condi Rice, with a doctorate in political science, is so dumb she doesn't even know that the GERMANS declared war on us, and in her office!

All you do is lie and try and cover it up! Why should we believe a damn thing you say?

You try and rewrite history and expect us to buy it! No thanks! We want OUR country back!

Conspiracy theorists invariably have little understanding of the subject. Their thinking seems to be, 'if I don't understand how it works then it can't possibly work'. The best example keeps popping up in this forum, that being 'did we really go to the moon?' Anyone with a basic understanding of physics knows that going to the moon was well within our abilities in the sixties. The CT's invariably couldn't tell one end of a rocket from the other therefore it couldn't possibly have happened. There's also a certain paranoia involved, that belief that guvmints have nothing better to do than control every aspect of our lives and spy on every bus driver, variety store clerk and sewer worker.

I'm a Liberal and I don't believe any of these conspiracy theories.

I don't believe I'm gonna be wearing a burka anytime soon, either.

Conspiracy Theorists run amok on both sides of the fence, Miss Coulter.

Because those guys are the outcast's of society, they never made cool friends in school or played sports, and thoughout live they kind of formed there own merry band of losers, to get attention. Every time they degrade the lives loss on 9-11 or blame Bush for every thing bad that happens, they get accepted into the ANTI-American bush hating culture and are accepted or part of a group for the first time, in there miserable pathetic lives.

Libs don't like to be constrained by facts, logic, or common sense. Conspiracy theories can easily be concocted to be to whatever they need to believe. What conspiracy theories? How about believing we attacked ourselves on 9/11 and planned the destruction of two skyscrapers, 4 jet airplanes, and the Pentagon? You believe that, you're a sucker for anything.
