.....after Reagan left office"??? So says another Y/A member. Would that be the much touted economic boom in the '90's when Clinton was President?? Or is it now, when things are even better which has already been "blamed" on Bush?? I'm trying to make sense of all the double-talk.

I believe your quote is from one of your "liberal" strawmen; a conservative Republican who pretends to be a liberal so that Republicans can argue against him.

To answer the fake opinion you've quoted, Reagan himself changed the concept of "Reaganomics", he rejected the trickle-down theory, and increased taxes in 1986.

A more accurate statement would be that the "reality of the horrors of Bushonomics" are only beginning to be realized by the common citizen." Consider what's been happening in the housing market, and consider the fact that the USA has lost 3 to 4 million manufacturing jobs during the Bush administration.

I define "long after" Reagan left office as being about 12 years.

I define the "horrors of Reaganomics" as being that prosperity did not trickle down as it was proposed to do. In fact the opposite has occurred in that the middle class has struggled since 2001 as the Bush administration has pushed capitalism to its extremes.

The economic boom of the 90's was not due to tax breaks and incentives for corporations and wealthy citizens but the entrepreneurial opportunities that were made available to middle class Americans to get to the next level and expand the possibilities of technology.
