Given the choice, I'm sure Bush would have chosen NOT to have the place be a "Gun Free Zone" - So the real question is why was there not one single person on campus in a position to apply lethal force to that maniac before he killed all those people. And that, my friend, is a question you can only answer by pressing democrats.

He didnt blow it off. The president doesnt have the power alone to ban weapons its congress you should be mad at. I dont agree with everything Bush has done but I honestly cant blame VA Tech on him or the way he handled it.

What could the President do? The crime occurred in the Commonwealth of Virginia and fell under the jurisdiction of their Governor. It was not a Federal crime.

in any country if a single men does any mistake we should not treat whole country as same so bush can do nothing and he can't provide security for each and every one.univ mgt peoples have do do some thing in it.

How did he ignore it? He came to the convocation in Blacksburg, even though his advisors didn't want him to. I was there, I saw him and heard him make a speech.
