Right, I know this is to be a contentious question, but please do not take offence. I ask this as I live in a country where health care is provided to all, and we can, if we choose, opt for private health care as well.

I DO NOT MEAN TO CAUSE ANY OFFENCE.

The USA has, for those who can afford it, and for those whose insurance pays out, one of the best health care systems in the world. But, life expectancy figures are amongst the lowest in the western world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy
The average person is more likely to live longer in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and even Cuba than they are in the USA. Not by much, but still, the USA is the richest and most powerful country in the world, whereas Cuba, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico are no where near as wealthy. Is this something that should be dealt with, and what are the reasons for this?

....how long it takes to wire a building? Explosive experts say several months of full-time access for much smaller buildings than 110 stories. How long would it take to wire TWO 110'ers, working only in times and places when nobody could observe them? Much longer than the first 9 months of the Bush administration I would guess. So what would that mean if WTC were controlled implosions??

All this talk about Bush, Iraq and America has brought me to one conclusion. It is a conspiracy by other world leaders to cover up their own problems by blaming another country and its leader. So name some world leaders and the scandals they have been involved in over the last couple years. For starters I remember hearing Putin having some female journalist shot.

Mostly would you say?

George is #1 machismo walking tough-guy tarzan, lone ranger through the world-jungle full of bad people?

Everything's "law of the jungle"
as it should be
and he's Jesus on a mission carrying all the shining God-given answers in his pack?

That's not my question of course.

What I'm really looking to hear, if you happen to see Bush as having some real grasp of a sense of America, I'd like to hear more about what that is.

So basically right now the US is being pressured by the world to intervene in Darfur with the genocide and all. But the real question is should we? I mean won't it just turn out to be another Somalia? Were fighting a civil war again like we did in Vietnam and most recently Iraq and sooner or later it will just turn into another money pit and we will be once again the object of criticism and be called "Warmongers". So should the US just say no to Darfur and calm down for a bit and let the Europeans take care of it?

One country's democracy is another country's poison. Do not believe me? Look what the US did in Iraq.

I am not saying that dictatorship should return, what will happen to Iraq is ultimately the choice of Iraqis.

Bush said that Gonzales is great leader and that he has super confidence in him. Throughout it seemed that the only person to praise Gonzales was the president himself. Then why would he resign if he has the president's support? Even after resignation, Bush continues praising Gonzales heavily. How come?

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Monday a diplomatic push by the world's powers to rein in Tehran's nuclear program was the only alternative to "an Iranian bomb or the bombing of Iran."

In his first major foreign policy speech, Sarkozy emphasized his existing foreign policy priorities, such as opposing Turkish membership of the European Union and pushing for a new Mediterranean Union that he hopes will include Ankara.

Antibiotics started in mainstream use in the 50s. Almost two decades later, when scientists started to warn about them losing their effectiveness, they were ridiculed and attempts made to discredit their warnings. Only when most antibiotics have become useless has it become apparent that they were correct. Why do you suppose humans wait until it is too late to do something?

Now, considering most antibiotics have lost their effectiveness scientists are worried about outbreaks of reemerging infectuous diseases being unable to be controlled, and causing large outbreaks that may lead to worldwide pandemics. Who here believes they are immune to true pathogens enough, to walk among the infected and not become ill?

Considering the possible scenarios above, how fast do you think illness will spread while so many people lack access to health care?

If these scenarios did come about, how much would it be worth to you, to be able to leave your home, without worrying about becoming ill?

"I would rather fight them overseas than here at home......"
you know how to not have to fight them here?
Have the CIA and the FBI and the INS and the Customs people start doing their jobs.
Secure borders would be helpful(to keep EL Queda
out).
Won't have to fight them here...IF WE DON'T LET THEM IN.
here is classic example of government DERELICTION
