I just read an interesting response to a question that made me think. The response went something like... Okay, keep this nation divided by making excuses for Bush.

I'm a conservative who is not a big supporter of Bush, because, he's NOT a conservative and yes, he's made many mistakes. I do have many friends who are supporters of our President and that certainly doesn't keep us divided. I respect their opinions.

It seems to me that ideology is keeping us divided more than anything. Am I wrong?

Speaking for myself.. I'm for smaller government, less government control, and more responsibility taken from the feds and turned over to states and municipalities, therefore, giving us, the citizens more control. I'm against corporate monopolies and allowing big business to call the shots. I am for private enterprise.

So what in your opinion is keeping us so divided. Now's your chance to let it all hang out!

would you conceal everything and give congress further ammunition

or

would you just reveal EVERYTHING since your guy is innocent and make a democratic congress look like a bunch of fools who are impeding your administration, you have a golden opportunity to make them look like idiots, wouldn't you take this if your guy was innocent and leave no room for futher questions

I just read an article in the newspaper about Hillary Clinton's defense of using nuclear weapons against Bin Ladin. The article explained that Clinton did not approve of Obama's refusal to justify using nuclear weapons agianst Bin Ladin. Personally I agree with Obama that it would be a grave mistake in deploying nuclear weapons when we are supposedly trying to stop others from using them. I want to hear your thoughts on this issue...

P.S. I do award points to the most throught provoking answer, regardless of its political views

listen to some of these descriptions of 20-somethings living with their parents:

kids that don't pull their own weight.
kids that need their parents for support.
kids that don't have an identity of their own.
kids with a sense of entitlement.

sounds like the result of a liberal upbringing. question for libs: what happens when NO ONE in society pulls their own weight?

Most all my conservative friends are divorced and all my liberal friends have all been married a long time. I'm a liberal have 4 kids and have been married to my wife for 14 years.

That sound like conservatives have family values screwed up.
