The result of parents not pushing kids to strive for excellence and make their own living, and the fact that government offers womb to tomb support for bums and welfare moochers.

well... it would be bad... to answer your question...
but just how many of these people are there? do you have any stats on this? I mean there have always been people who have lived with their parents and just never left or pulled their own weight,...
but I don't personally know any? are you saying there are more of them now?
why do conservatives always talk about all these problems that I never see?
EDIT: I did know some of these people in high school though... that had no drive or seeming will... they were almost always the kids of parents who were always at work 24-7... and they didn't even know their parents and weren't really "raised"... and their parents just let them do whatever and just gave them money to solve their problems, because after all, the parents didn't have time to "deal with it"
but I thought that was a conservative thing... working all the time? who's raising the kids when a conservative works 70 hours a week, like they often crow about how proud they are that they do? the answer: no one...

That is not true. Those children come from irresponsible parenting which is the fault of the individual parent...not political values. It is also quite natural for young people to act in this manner until they are grown adults just like in every other generation of young people. Not all adolescents and young people are this way though. I know many young people who are extremely responsible. By the way that is YOUR description of young people living with their parents. Have you ever thought that college costs an awful lot and that kids are living at home to save money while they get a higher education or that they went away for college but they cannot afford much until after they repay their loans. The things that a young person has to pay to become educated so they can become successful in society is not cheap. You also are not going to be very successful, or making a lot of money just getting out of college or while you are still in college no matter how many jobs you have.

the US constitution..... a result of liberal values! the rest is a result of right wing hipocracy,
kids that don't pull their own weight.
kids that need their parents for support.
kids that don't have an identity of their own.
kids with a sense of entitlement.
All these things discribe The Bush Children, and Cheney are perfect examples.

No, it is the result of treating our offspring like children, and sheltering them from the real world until they are past puberty.
It is caused by the laws, TV, and babysitters raising our children, because in a majority of families, both parents have to work, and do not have time to raise their children correctly.

Actually the kinds of people you are describing are the undecided voters or people who just don't care. If a person is a true liberal/conservative they will most likely be active in supporting their cause - this involves getting out of the house and campaigning.

Willis, WHERE do you come up with this stuff?
I can personally give you documentation of many children of conservative parents that didn't amount to SQUAT!
Children who were so fawned-over, so well provided for, that they never learned real responsibility!
That's right, buddy! Children of con parents!
Let me give you a small example...
A couple of real "career" parents, so busy with making money that they had to hire MY WIFE as a full time nanny for their kids.
And whether in the bathroom or bedroom or any other house in the room, if anything hit the floor...that's where it laid, because those parents had accustomed their children to living with domestic staff.
Nice, eh?
So take your lib slurs on out of here, please.

That just nutty. I have always been a liberal and my parents are liberals and I:
Paid for 4 years of college myself by working and not taking any loans or grants.
I have not lived at my parents house since I graduated.
I support a wife and 4 small kids in a house I own.
I do not have a trust fund or any other money I didn't earn myself.

i'm a liberal, and a Christian. I certainly have raised my babies to love themselves and each and each-different, to stay as human beings of value and distinctive characteristic and to realize that each and all of us human beings, which includes themselves, fall wanting perfection and place self belief in the grace and forgiveness of others. all of us make errors and we are all in the technique of "transforming into". My babies have consistently respected me and that they have consistently completed their perfect to cooperate with me. we've consistently been an extensive kin, and we communicate approximately something and each thing. i'm in want of corporal punishment whilst there is an extremely sturdy rationalization for it, yet i've got purely ever had to hotel to that two times in 18 years, and the two situations grew to become into to ward off my babies from stepping into circumstances that had the aptitude to break them irreparably. i've got confidence that if a be certain is consistent and loving, corporal punishment will hardly if ever be required. I certainly have raised my babies to place God first of their lives, and to love others as God loves them. I certainly have taught them that cloth fulfillment is fading and that genuine fulfillment is a controversy of the coronary heart and the spirit. I certainly have taught them to look for what's real, selflessly and uncompromisingly.... yet to fulfill human beings the place they're, as God meets us the place we are.

Those children are the result of parents who want them to be kept as children instead of allowing them to grow up. The parents typically try to shelter their children from anything they they considered objectionable in society. I have to tell you that this is much more typical of conservative parents who want to make sure their children grow up knowing nothing about sex, drugs, alcohol, alternative lifestyles, certain types of music, and anything else the parents don't agree with. Children who are sheltered by such parents do often grow up to be immature and irresponsible. They're not allowed to experience the real world while they're growing up so they can't deal with it as adults.
