I don't know the reasoning behind it, but I hear it quite often, that there is a reason why the Sec. of Defense is a civilian and not a military person. So, for the libs to want ex military men running the war seems to contradict what the experts say. Like I said, I don't know the reasoning behind it. So if you want to understand it more, you'll have to look it up.

Because as Bush said, the DoD should be running the war, but you notice how fast Rumsfeld got axed when he started calling for a change in direction didn't you?
You do realize what his job was, right?

I guess I am out of the loop cause I havent heard that before. Where did you get that info Fox News, (I should say Fox Propaganda)

Come to think of it though the generals who are managing the job are doing a pretty crappy job. Maybe the liberals are right.
