"I would rather fight them overseas than here at home......"
you know how to not have to fight them here?
Have the CIA and the FBI and the INS and the Customs people start doing their jobs.
Secure borders would be helpful(to keep EL Queda
out).
Won't have to fight them here...IF WE DON'T LET THEM IN.
here is classic example of government DERELICTION

Bush is an idiot.....they are about to "re-settle" 7,000 Iraqi's in the USA, people who have "helped us" in Iraq. Insurgents and AlQueda have infiltrated all parts of the "government" in Iraq, why are we allowing them into our country?

Yea we let them in but you have to understand how huge the traffic is across american borders. And we can't just shut them out even if we tried to. It would devestate us economically too. The problem is the oil, we need it for our economy at the moment, and until we become independant of oil we won't leave the middle east. That is also something that we as Americans can't wait for our government to do for us. It's the choice you make at the auto daeler, the car you buy is the decider about wether we go to war. Buy a gas powered car and we go to war, buy an alcohol powered car and we don't.

Who knows what he means anytime he opens his mouth and tries to speak English? Fight them over there? Where is Osama Bin Laden? Since we can't seem to find him was the President's plan go into Iraq and draw the terrorists there so we can fight them there? How do you fight an enemy you can't even identify until after they attack? I lived through the Vietnam era and Iraq, by far, is an even worse blunder. Why six years after nine-eleven are our borders still not secured? We can't beat terrorism and anyone who thinks we can is fooling themselves. Our efforts should be on securing our country and developing ways to stop terrorists from entering. If that means profiling, so be it. The FBI spies on Americans, why should foreigners have more rights in our country than we ourselves have?

When he was in the part time Texas/Alabama National Guard he didn't have to fight the North Vietmamese over there or over here.

What a phony he is. Some "war president".

He means we already have the oil here.
If the Bush admin really tried to beef up national security, the only way they would get here, is to figure out how to walk on water.

It is propaganda at its best. We will be fighting the boogieman called Al Qui'da for years. You need to do your homework. You are way behind. I suggest you start by seeing a documentary called "Terror Storm 2"

...He means that he would rather watch our people die "out of sight, & out of mind in Countries far away"- than replayed over & OVER again, on the 6 o'clock news. THAT way he can say he's making the Country "safer".
