I get that it's a silent "s" but, but to me this is basic spelling. I notice that a lot of people leave out the "s" in their typing. The word corps itself is described as a group of people associated together.

Is this war turning slowly into another Vietnam. Lets just get out and loose. The hell with the troops. We don't really care about them. Soldiers and Sailors keep off the grass were real signs I saw in the 60s and 70s. Is this going to happen again. Shouldn't we no matter what the cause of the war go in and win it. Let the American people know we are still the superpower we have been. Let the world know not to mess with Big Bad Leroy Brown and face the fact that if we are coming to get you we will find you?

It's getting to be rather tiresome.

If you ever stopped to ask any of us democrats, we've lost people and have people serving who may not be home for the holidays too.

By the way, MoveOn.org has already raised 250,000 dollars to allow all the troops to call home for the holidays... if you would like to donate to this cause, here is the link:

Are we finally past the time when one party thinks that they own the military and speak for all its members?

Furthermore, what can we do for the 10,000+ soldiers who suffer from PTSD?
You know, they are 70% less likely to recieve all the benefits they were promised...

Warren D has fielded a Question concerning an interim tanker/transport for Air Mobility Command, U. S. Air Force. The Boeing KC-135 has performed the Strategic Tanker mission since 1954; although the McDonnellDouglas KC-10 was purchased as a KC-135 replacement, the KC-10 was found to have certain shortcomings. The best solution appears at this time to be development of a new aircraft, to be termed KCX.

A new issue appearing in the 1990's, that was not a factor in the KC-135 and KC-10 development programs, is the need for low radar and infrared observability--both the KC-135 and KC-10 are sitting ducks for SAM systems that would be unable to lock up either the USAF/Northrop Grumman B-2A bombardment aircraft or the USAF/Lockheed Martin F-22A tactical pursuit/attack aircraft.

What should KCX be capable of, quantity-wise?

Does anyone think it is about time for the military to release the recording of the 1981 EA6B Prowler crash on the USS Nimitz? I have a still photo of the fire, but all other flightdeck fires have been extensivley viewed in navy basic training in fire fighting school in The "triall by fire" video they make us watch. We have seen many times the Fires on the USS Forrestal and other Cariers why does the navy keep the Nimitz crash classified. They point thier fingers at the deckhands who died as a result of the crash 14 died and 44 injured, and blamed marijuana use on the entire cause when it was Pilot error that caused the crash. I was on deck when it happened and recieved a commendation for my actions. I would just like to see a video of this. It's been 27 years and you would think they would add this recording of the crash and ensuing fire fighting techniques to the Navy fire fighting training films

A friend of mine who is in the Navy is all worked up and stressing cuz he says he's gonna be sent to Iraq so at first I was like "Yeah but arent you just a mechanic on the boat?" and he was like "I am but I might be sent to battle if something happens, you never know when shiit is gonna go down!"

So that sort of left me more confused about the Navy.
I mean I thought the Navy stays in the water except for maybe the Navy SEALS and the Marines staitoned on the boats but I though mechanics stay on the boat and do mechanical stuff and dont actually get to draw their weapons unless theirs a mutiny or they are boarder or something. And surley they wont send mechanics into battle I mean we have the ARMY and the Marines for that.

So was my friends just BSing me or something?
