My hubbby is a marine. He wanted to get me a wrist corsage to wear the the ball. In my opinion, it is a sweet idea. However, I have came across "rules" for the ball on the internet that say it is not a good idea. These rules wer enot made by the Marine Corps (probably a wife or girlfriend).
Here is the link

My son signed on for five years, he was paid an enlistment bounus of $6,000. when he completed A school. He ran into some trouble and was discharhed with an "Other than Honorable". He served 22 of 60 months

The package of papers he was given included travel orders, DD214, evaluation's, but nothing about repayment of that bonus, although he said, they told him he would have to pay it back. If he needs to repay this, should'nt there of been some information in this package saying how much he owed, what the payment options were, where to send the payment and so forth?

Any info appericated.

Thanks

The American public is overwhelmingly against bush and the entire Republican party for that matter. It seems logical that the more the Military supports bush (with stupid slogans about freedom of speech) the less the public will trust the military.

American Militay; of course I do support the troopsifimust; and hailthe nationalismifimust--
but preferably, I choose to explain just how misguided this regime is, in that they are patriachial authoritarians= hitler's personality.

HOw in the world do peace loving persons drag back the soldiers ( not troops that are explained for the bushie incentives), back home, asap.

Why is it that Americans pronounce Lieutenant as it's spelled, and the rest of the English speaking world pronounces it "Leftenant"?

Women and babies as young as 2 are getting raped so severely that their bladders are often torn and brutalized to the point where they have to walk around with urine running down their legs for years until they can get help. And these are the fortunate rape victims. Most never get help and die or are
sold into sex slavery. Read the links below if you are not familiar with the rapes of these women in the Congo of Africa. This is unbelievable. If this is really taking place then how come the U.S Government have done nothing to help these women and babies?

I read that the United States Veterans Affairs Department uses more tax dollars than any other department except for the Department of Defense. How is this possible? With a 5 trillion dollar deficit how can the US continue paying?

Specifically medical apprentices, physical medicine apprentices, and pharmacy apprentices.

Or just a member of the Air Force in general.

Is it possible??? Or would it be a wasted effort out of desperation??? I really want to get into the Air Force and this whole "specific MOS-qualified prior service personnel only" BS is getting old... If someone wants to get in so bad that they would contemplate throwing away their prior service record it should mean something to the recruiter to at least attempt to accomodate that person... RIGHT???

I've been told about a regulation that states if you receive a certain amount of money, i.e. an inheritance or winning the lottery, you can be discharged from the military. However, no one I've talked to actually knows what the regulation is, or the amount of money you need. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I am a U.S. Soldier who just got back from his Second deployment to the Middle East.

1. I just got back 2 months ago.
2. My indigenous unit is deploying and I am being told I have to deploy with them.
3. This presents a Hardship to me because I am newlywed, and my Wife is pregnant and will be having the baby about 1 week after we officially deploy.
4. There are other reasons why this presents a harship to us.
5. My 1SG says he may be able to boot me off the Battle roster if the unit gets over strength and even if this happens I may not be released till a month or 2 before we get officially activated.

I am posting this 'Question" because I am looking for advice and tips on any information that may be provided to assist me in this extremely important issue, Also regulations that may help me will be appreciated.
