Of course, no one knows for sure,,,, but, do you have guess - educated or not? I'd really like to know how people envision this war ending. Can you think of anyone capable enough to devise a strategy? Who might that be? Thanks for your opinions.

Meaning say if you did'nt successfully graduate high school, or to say the least you feel you did'nt, will the military just willingly give you your diploma. Or in this instince make your earn your eduacation.

In the Army, when you pick up trash, it's called a police call. I figured I'd catch on to it eventually, but now that I've been in for two years, I still have absolutely no idea why they call it that. It seems like a police call would be when you call the police. Does anyone have any idea where this term came from?

I once wrote-up a girl in my division, she was UA for over 24 hours and called in with some lame story about how her friend was in labor and could not make it, I told her to come in. She said that her friend's husband was on deployment and none of her family nor the husband's family available.

The Commanding Officer tossed it out, and gave her a warning, that was his decision, which I respect but do not like.

When someone becomes President of the United States, do you think they should have some type of military training before coming into office to better lead in capacity of Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces? I know they have Sec. of Defense and the Generals to make recommendations, but as President, do you feel they would lead better in national defense with prior military experience?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of anyone enlisting in the navy in the reserves... then, if I like it and decide that is what I want my career to be, applying to OCS to become an officer....

does this sound like a good idea? I already have a 4 year degree...but I sorta want to experience the navy as an enlisted first.... Thanks

If a soldier has sent checks to his girlfriend (now ex) whom he made it so she would able to cash them in and by their agreement place into a secondary account, his but under her name. But now since they have broken up she wouldn't give back any money that the military gave the soldier, and being on temporary leave from Iraq, what options does he have? What can he do?

This is the question I ask myself when people insist that we need to "support the mission" in Iraq as a condition of being a loyal citizen. I dispute that. Bush's conduct of the war in Iraq is on a par with Napoleon's catastrophic invasion of Russia in 1812. To deception in starting the war, Napoleon added strategic short-sightedness and tactical incompetence. Were the French people required by the obligations of citizenship to "support the mission" in Russia in order to demonstrate that they supported the French troops?
