uh no. you must have a GED or HS diploma before you can enlist.

the military does not provide same. I believe there is a National Guard program where you can enlist without either one and they give you time to complete your GED, but they do not actually give it to you themselves.

And when you're looking at the services that will take a GED, be aware that they don't treat the GED like they do a High School Diploma. There are only so many slots they can fill with GED people. And sometimes if you're going to an alternative high school even that diploma is considered a GED unless the school is properly accredited with your state. It's best to get your full diploma from a real school.

You must have a Ged or High School Diploma to enter the Military... depending on what state you live in they may offer an adult high school say if you needed just a few credits to get your diploma ... I know the Guard can assit you with getting your GED meaning help you get enrolled in the GED class.. noone is going to give you a Ged you must earn it.

The military will give you nothing.

To enlist, you need to have a high school diploma or a high school GED.

The Army and Navy will accept you if you have a high school GED. The Air Force and Marine Corps will only accept w/ a high school diploma.

You must have a high school diploma or GED to join the US military.

Many services will not accept a GED, Air Force in particular.

I don't know if you are insinuating something or just uninformed, but I am kind of taking offense to your question.

US military members continually test higher than most of their counterparts in the civilian fields.

It takes at least a GED to join the army, and even a GED isn't a high school diploma, just a certificate of equivalent skills to a high school diploma.

Not only no, but not even close buddy. Not only do you need to have co mpleted HS (or GED) but you must pass a number of Academic tests in Basic Training. Also I believe there is a minimum score on the ASVAB required.

As for "giving" anything to the soldier, the soldier has to earn everything; every certificate of training, every rank, every meal! (though if you fail to earn your meal, you will be given bread and water)

like stated above you can NOT get in without at the very least a GED and the Air Force will not take even that..........

I have heard of a certain amount of college credits being taken into account but am honestly not sure about that.

And really why should anyone take some one that has shown they have failed the first test of their life and that is to get a basic education,
