I went to a recruiters office yesterday for the first time and did not tell him about my marijuana use about a week ago. I am enlising in the reserves and still have to take my physical and asvab very soon. If my drug test comes up positive for marijuana, am i finished? or is there a possibility of a waiver? I fully realize that it was a terrible decision and one of which i will never do again.
Thank you all in advance.

your opinion on the following ?
All the Israelis are armed. They teACH THEIR CHILDREN A POEM CALLED kILL EVERY Palestinian kid
Sharon promised his voters to the lives of the Palestinian kids. In their Tawra they say that God is theirs only and the other people are just donkeys to ride and God created them to serve the Israelis. How did you feel when you saw Mohamed Aldorra being killed while hiding behinh his father's back by an Israele brave soldier.

I want to find my Great-Grandad's WWI medals, they were issued to his widow in 1923, but now they're not in the family at all.
Is there any way to find out whether a collector has got them, and if so, who?
If I found them, how much do you reckon it would cost to buy them back? There's three-1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal.
He fought in the Canadian Army, but was from Leeds, UK, and that's where his widow was when she received the medals, plus a scroll and plaque, which are also missing.

During 1965 war India attacked Sialkot city by bringing its massive airforce & surrounded the city , barely 10 km from L shaped border by 600 tanks, some say 1000. That was biggest tank battle after 2nd world war. At night too tanks were orderd to fire. The small city having no river like hindrance could not be captured even 16 more days till ceasefire. Why ? What happened to all those 600 tanks ? How many of them were intact ? That was never disclosed. I know that India hit 243 Pak tanks . How many total no of Indian tanks were destroyed ? How many indian military fghter aeroplanes were lost ? Can anyone tell accurately ?

On several questions I have seen posts concerning how American's get their historical view of how America won WWII, saved Europe, England... defeated Germany... Some answers say these beliefs are from Hollywood making movies portraying Americans in the Savior role, even having movies made that show the US in battles that they were not in.

A. Because American film makers felt that way or just how they felt the public wanted to see it.
B. Is there some truth in it but is it exgesurated
Why is it that they concentrate solely on the American effort?
Tora, Tora, Tora is probably is one of the better WW II movies, however, it made in the 70's and has only to do with the attack on Pearl Harbor.

I know this question has been asked a million times, but I really am having a hard time figuring out what I want to do.

A few reasons why I want to join are:

1) I need direction in my life

I went to school to become a Medical Assistant & graduated..., but still don't know what I want. I feel like my life is at a stand-still.

2) I want to learn responsibility and be able to do things and live on my own.

I just turned 23 and I still live at home and I just feel like I could be doing so much more with my life.

3) To take care of our soldiers out there when they get hurt (I want to be a Medic) and of course to fight for our country!! HOOAH!

I got into the Medical field because I have a passion for wanting to take care of people.

I'm from a military family. My grandpa fought in Vietnam & retired as an E-8. I've wanted to join the military since I was 14 and I think it would be an honor for my grandpa to salute me at my BCT graduation. It would make him so happy!

And yet the US claims to be the world's sole super power and the "beacon of freedom and democracy". Isn't that a form of dictatorship?

I think that even many repected strategic level people in the US military are respectfully recommending a withdrawl from Iraq.

And how does it feel when Iraqis are paying with their lives over the choices of the American politicians?

My husband is in the army in Yongsan, Korea. He wants me to join him in November. I'm not sure how everything is supposed to go but he says in the mean time, I need to get my passport. I just got my military id card and am now cover by tricare. Is there anything else I need like a visa cause I've heard a lot about that too? And also, we are living off base and from what I understand, it is expensive but he says after 3 months, the army will help us pay. Can anyone tell me more. I'm not sure on exactly what to do because he says I can just pretty much show up as long as he lets his commander/seargent knows and if he doesn't f@#^ up, as he puts it...

My friend is leaving for Army basic training at the end of the month. I'm wondering what the likelihood of him being sent to Iraq is, and what the alternative would be if he's not.

I don't know a lot about this stuff... I'm really freaked out right now because I only just found out he's signing up, and it's coming on really fast. If you could just give me some idea of what he's in for, that would really help... and none of that crap about "he'll be different" and stuff, I don't really care to hear that all over again.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could help me out.

I've got a buddy who is going through a pretty rough patch in his life. He's been fired from a few jobs, is depressed, and is filling for bankruptcy. I've heard a lot of people say the armed forces are a good way to get straightened out and get your life back on track. I was just wondering if they wouldn't allow him to join due to his financial or psychological situation. Do you think it could help?

Thanks!
