With a felony I'm pretty sure the only one who might even consider taking you is the Army National Guard.

The Army is the most open to this sort of thing, so you are thinking correctly about going to them versus the other branches. The recruiter can tell you, as has already been said. I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility. Certainly in the past they have made people join the Army to get out of going to jail, so why wouldn't it be possible?

The key word is FELONY. Felons have spent time in a PENITENTIARY and last I heard, FELONS are not eligible for military service, regardless of the FELONY CONVICTION.
Stupid decisions that are made follow us all through our lives, but some people don't think about that, just a quick fix or quick buck.

my understanding is that the military have no tolerance from drugs and also if you have any felony your definitely will be disqualify to join any military branch unless it was when your were younger and your file is sealed but you must tell your recruiter and they might let that pass by,, good luck!!!

depends on the drug and the type of felony. Intent to distribute is a No Go. LSD, Meth, Heroin or Cocaine is a No Go.

You'd have to discuss this with a recruitment officer. The U.S. military has lowered its standards so that gang members are now being recruited, so you might have a chance.

no you may not. also you can not have any arrest history in your file your file has to be clean no nothing bad in order for you to join the military because they ask you have you been arrested they look into your past also.

I don't think so. I don't think you can join with any felony convection.
