My wife was injured in March of 2006 while in Basic Training for the Army. She is in the National Guard. After being sent to the PTRP for about two months she was sent back to her home unit. They have been compensating her since her return in a hope that she heals. After multiple visits to the doctors for her knee injuries (both knees) the doctor wants to do surgury. The military wanted a second opinion from Walter Reed and have yet to get her an appointment there for evaluation. Her origional Line of Duty stated the injuries in both legs and a few months ago the LOD was altered to only one leg, although both legs are still messed up. They have yet to change the LOD back after several attempts so she can get medical coverage for both legs. Can anyone tell me the process of a medical discharge and what her entitlements would be from this information provided as far as education, disability compensation, etc? My main concern is her surgury to be paid for. Thanks for the input!

A Marine was just found guilty of attending a war protest in uniform, his Honorable discharge was reduced to a General. How many people know that your EOS is the date when your IRR ID expires?

I was separated from the Air Force for Erroneous Enlistment which basically means that I did not inform them of my situatuion, but I was given a waiver for my situatuion and now I have been denied a waiver to get into the Army and no other branch will take me. Is there anyway that I can sue them for their wrong doing.

what would be the harm in letting my generation (34 y.o.), view the gold, just like they did in the past..this would boost confidence and morale in many people to see the massive amt of gold stored at Ft Knox...and what would be the total amt. at todays gold prices..in these miserable times we could use some good news.......BUSH 08

We have a real situation developing and we haven't seen a word about it anywhere. This is a real measure of how controlled our media really is!

Have you seen this e-mail:
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority." We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.
Many Americans, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday, and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a message that every "red-blooded American" who supports our men and women afar, will wear something red.
The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is. "We need your support and your prayers." Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something red every Friday.
What a great idea! Will you do it?

It looks like the evidence is in.
Bo&Zo really ****** up, getting the USA involved in wars inside Islam.
Now the world's #1 superpower has been shown to be a paper tiger and the savage lunatic terrorists and Muslim Jihad smell blood. There's no way the USA is going to win (whatever a win would be?) over there. No way.
And when, not if, they lose all of USA interests in the whole Middle East will be in peril and Islamic Jihad will be empowered more than ever.
This is by far the worst blunder ever in American foreign policy and military history because the consequences of losing over there will be way worse than Vietnam.

I am 60% disabled, and upon honorable discharge, I was told that since I did not serve for 3 years I was not eligible for MGIB. I have been told by many veterans that I am eligible for other educational benefits through the VA. Where can I find resources for these benefits online? As a lot of veterans know, the VA seems to make it hard to find out these things.

I live in an apartment right now and there's this $104,000 house I'm looking at. It's BEAUTIFUL. Only problem is, while I can afford the house payment, I won't be able to afford insurance and tax without my budget being uncomfortably tight. If BAH goes up for being a homeowner, then I might be able to do it. I live in Hermitage, TN. I'm an E-4 with 4 years in and Ithe house I want is in Smyrna, TN.
