Just wondering if any guy could clarify this in terms of the US army:

Does the US army give you options to leave basic training if you are not cut out?

What does the phrase 'failure to adapt' actually mean?

Why is a discharge not as fast or not administered as easily as the above? (if indeed this is the case)

How would you as the commander and cheif react.
Me if I was the President would call in air strikes on the invading ships and ground forces set up a AA blockade for enemy air craft while deploying army units to deal with the invaders. I would then have the Special ops guys kill there leader and call in a airstrike on there capitol city.

I am going to join the Navy of the Air force by the beginning of the next year. I was wondering what did you do on a daily basis in Basic Training (AF and Navy) i.e. pt everyday? Did you have free time daily or is it just one day, or none at all while your there. Do they have special accom. for family that comes to your graduation?

And lastly, Are there particular bases that medical personnel get sent in school or duty station?

Thanks-
Denise

Do none of you realize that terrorists only attack us to change our perspectives. These terrorists attacked on 9/11 to get a vote out of us that we usually will not vote for.

Be careful on who you vote for... Be very careful.

Why does no one study how terrorism has started? it started because specific assasins were able to kill, say, a king, and that would spread fear throughout the people of their next possible step to change political ideas.

The first terrorists got what they wanted because death is scary, and that is the only way a terrorist negotiates... We must understand this!

We are losing to the terrorists because we fear them. This is what they want!

Since the politicians do not want to stop the terrorists, we must start planning for the inevitable.

Will the terrorists nuke Los Angeles, Chicago or New York first, assuming only one nuke was used?

The case for New York is that it is the biggest city, has the most commercial wealth and will cause the biggest shock to the financial health of the US (and the world).

The case for Los Angles is it is sin city--the terrorists don't like our "morals" (even though they think nuking us is fine).

The case for Chicago is that if the nuclear detonation is a ground burst, there would be massive radioactivity, and with the westerly to easterly winds would cause the greatest death toll as the radioactive debris will go from Chicago to Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington, etc.

Bush will not stop the illegals and has open borders and the Democrats are always soft on national security. We must contemplate this scenario and hopefully wake up DC.

My son that was in the Marines and served in Iraq ect...was on leave. And on Feb 3rd while he was home he was killed. His death goes in deep detail so I'm not going there but why won't the Military step in and do something instead of waiting for a small town sheirff to do all the investagation while the men that hurt my son have the right to go on with their lives.
Sorry I just don't understand it. If it happened in another country our Goverment wouldn't set back right?

What did they call those 18th/19th century battlefield fences made from criss-crossed logs with sharpened ends? I've seen them in old black-and-white photos from Civil War battlefields; they looked like big X's stretching for hundreds of yards. I think there's a French word for them, but I can't remember it. Any military history buffs out there? I doubt I'd get a response from "Mail Call" on the History Channel!
