How are you suppose to deploy, if you have: a fractured jaw and you haven't been given any training? And if there is someone I can talk to then who?

Go to medical. You should be cut out during SRP if your jaw is bad enough.

You can't be deployed if you haven't been to Basic Training. If you've been to Basic Training and MOSQ'd then you're good to go. You don't need train up, they just like for you to have it.

I don't understand this question. If you are in the regular military, you should be able to go to sick call and get relieved of duty for your injury. But, if you were in the real military, then you should have all of your training done. Even if you are in the guard or reserve, then your training should be complete, before you get any orders to delploy. Like I said, an injury like that would most likely let you out of duty, if it is a hinderance. Like I said, I don't understand the question, the way you have stated it, at least.

There is nothing about this Question that says "OPSEC violation". Enough is enough.

SPC Burn It is entirely correct in that pre-deployment SRP should take care of everything.

As for "training", the Question was too vague to begin with, and SPC Burn It has handled it moe than adequately, with one caveat: There is absolutely no need for an individual Soldier (if Army) to be trained and certified for pre-deployment, it is at the unit level. That's how we get replacements straight out of Basic Training and AIT sent downrange to units already in Iraq or Afghanistan.

There's someone you can talk to. Actually, there's a whole bunch of people you can talk to. They're called your Chain of Command. Use it.

report mass. sounds fishy that they havent giving you training. sounds like you switched MOS's and now you have a new one and they havent trained you yet...sounds like the army is being lazy if you ask me. now about the broken jaw. have fun with that. talk to the doc. i know in the marine corps, if your dental isnt good to go, your not deployable. chances are your not going anywhere until that jaw is good. good luck. your buddy david

Your Congressman! It doesn't violate a thing as far as I am concerned!

If you aren't trained here, it will be OJT for you I guess! Glad you were never in my foxhole!

Deploying is easy. Get on the plane!
