Linda, so glad you you finally heard from CJ and that he's doing well, thats great news !!
My son just deployed only two weeks ago and I actually missed his first phone call this a.m. :( I continue to email him everyday and wait for his response.
So I know how you must be feeling as a mom just waiting for the phone to ring and to hear his voice and know that he's ok.
A big Thank You to CJ and all our brave Troops. May God Bless you and guide you on your journey!!

Tammy

I am so happy for you. My son is a Marine and was one of the first groups to go to Iraq. I didn't know I could pray so hard. He just re-upped and now my hearts in my mouth waiting for that dreadful phone call that he's going back. Send out a big THANK YOU and HUG from all of us to CJ and the troops. God Bless all our heroes and their families. AND don't listen to a thing negative that the news tells you. I am so proud of my son too. You should see the stickers on my car. I have one that says "If you can't stand behind our troops, Stand in Front of Them". You can pull up the website Operation Homefront or Operation Love Our Troops. I belong to both and they do a great job in helping the troops and their families. I wish I had known about these great people when my son was over there. I know how you feel about being the lion mother. I can't even tell you how verbal I have become defending any negative remarks I hear about our heroes and this war. Best of Luck and Prayers to all of you. WAY TO GO CJ!

That is awesome!! I am a military wife and I love our troops!! My husband was deployed to Iraq in November 2003 and did not come home until February 27 2005 and I know the difficulties it causes for family and friends. The worries are so great! But the pride we feel is so awesome! Im happy you heard from him =) Keep supporting him and the others and I will keep them in my prayers.

CJ, your mother is very proud of you. Don't let the media get you down. You are doing the right thing and the citizens of Iraq really appreciate your efforts.
