I know that the French pulled out and not long afterwards the USA went in; but was it totally, 100% American war or did other countries play a part, no matter how minor?

Thanks!

during second phase during field training, did a drill instructor repeatedly throw a recruits helmet over a fence and having him repeatedly retrieving it like a dog? is that something the air force or navy would do? i doubt it. how do this "exercise" makes for a better fighting man?? another question, if YOUR son was in Marine boot camp, and he done something wrong and the drill instructor kicked him in the butt, would u be mad at the drill instructor?

bush is breaking evey law there is on the war and says it is because of 911 which he allowed so he could get this abusive power..

now he has a general over national secerity and the only thing he was asked to do was have the general resign and again he acts like ben laden and dose not listen to the american people..

I thought that the last elections showed that the American people want to end the war. Yet the Democrats are folding on an iraq timetable. What gives? Are the Democrats a weaker party?

without enemy noticing the withdrawal is in progress? I mean, withdrawing US troops from iraq is going to surge the pressure against remaining fielded forces. What is the highest achievable speed of such a withdrawal? May it follow the speed of invasion? I guess no, cause the units are stretched over a wide area..
How would you protect your forces duringr such a withdrawal? do you think Iraqi home armed forces will stand the surge of attacks to protect US troops withdrawal?

Is it me or is it just incredible the amount of technology the US has..

We have jets that can out fly anti aircraft missiles, we have aircraft carriers that are longer than the empire state building is tall and can carry out an entire assault by itself, we have missiles that can take off in the Arctic ocean from a submarine, and pinpoint a target thousands of miles away, we have artillery that can be fired from mile behind the front lines and accurately eliminate the enemy.....

And the best part is, we have men and women ready to fight until the death to help protect their country.....

I must say, aside from all the Liberals who would rather see our military disbanded and re-direct the money to the homeless in some foreign country that will most likely attack us, We live in a great country...

I am proud to be an American, Happy Memorial DAY all you vets out there and all those that have served, war or not...

YOU ARE A BRAVE! Have a Great day monday!
