I am considering joining the Army after college. I am majoring in zoology with a focus on cell biology (note: I have nothing to do with animals, I will be cell biologist, my school just has it's biology program divided up kinda weird so I am classified into their zoology program). What can I pick as a job if I get in (if I have some say in my job choice)? I want to see if I keep my career focused somewhere in the biological/biomedical or medical sciences.

I have heard of them helping spouses with other health problems, so i was wondering if they help us out with dental damage (non-cosmetic) and pay for it. If yes, how does one go about getting this?

the republican party says that democrates are anti-american, just because they want troops to come home, but if you really think about it republicans are, seeing as they rather send out troops to die in a pointless war than come back to the U.S...and for once take care of our own country(the government).we have put so much money and have had to many people die for something that doesn't need to happen. we could use the money for other things in our country( like helping rebuild from past disasters that we "dont have enough money for"). and save people from grieving.

since bin ladin is a wealthy oil sheik why was'nt his money not docked or simply taken from him if he has so much to fund attacks against the u.s.a. instead of the u.s.a. using ladin's funds?inquiring minds would like to know.

On military records I have obtained on a fraudster is contained the following item: "court-martial transcript not available."
Does this mean his "discharge" involved a court-martial, or is this simply listed on the records of all people regardless of whether a court-martial was conducted? If it helps, the report shows that he only served for thirty-five days (Air Force -- Lackland).

Hello, I'm a twenty year old female who was disqualified from the Air Force last year due to migraine problems. My father made the mistake of mentioning it during our discussion with the recruiter. A year after, I've attempted on trying again this time with the doctor's consent that I've been migraine-free for about a year -- but from the looks of things, it won't be likely that I'll be getting that waiver.

Right now, the Military is really my only answer, as there's nothing here for me. My question would be: Is there any chance that the other Military branches would accept me? Preferably the Navy? Thank you in advanced.

So many "top terrorist" leaders were killed and they keep coming back like roaches. Bin Laden always seem to pop up at the right time...for arguements supporting the war. It's fantastic. I believe this war on "terror" is probably one of the most interesting wars of all time. I give it 5 stars!!

.....it "doesn't exist' (the war on terror).

Would you agree that he insulted the troops in this statement? I mean, I wonder how many "Bumper Stickers" it takes to blow up a Humvee or how many soldiers have been killed by bumper stickers by non-existent terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan so far.

As a Disabled Veteran, this makes me angry. How about you?

it's too late to present a black box now.for us to know what was said in the pilots area during 9/11.however i am apalled to the amount of lives, money and time it has taken tofight a group of people that are rebels.it says that rebels could possibly do the same thing in the u.s.a.
it would have been easier to send all the people of iraq to a refuge, the destroy all the places where the insurgents areand use their oil money to rebuild.
audio and video tapes of bin ladin are not enuff.it's all he say she say..what is on that blackbox should have been shared with the public as proof to who was involved..people paid dearly for something they did'nt have to pay for.

What drives so many people to plant bombs, do suicide attacks, shoot, torture virtually anyone within reach? BTW, I am for U.S. troops leaving immediately. I do not see that U.S. presence in Iraq is doing any good. They need to work out their own future.

Germany did it in WWII, and so did Italy (though they called it the Roman step.) Russia did it. Cuba does it, and North Korea does it. African countries have weird, dance-like articulations, but at the heart, they're still goose-stepping. Why?

Most attacks on U.S. Troops in Iraq are by Sunnis not Shias, which populate Iran. The last National Intelligence Estimate said Iran could not possibly have Nuclear Weapons until mid next decade. Who has Iran attacked? Does anyone honestly believe Iran is a security threat to the United States? Is the U.S. trying to provoke another "Gulf of Tonkin" like pretext for a new war?

Reuters
Wednesday 23 May 2007

Nine U.S. warships carrying 17,000 personnel entered the Gulf on Wednesday in a show of force off Iran's coast that navy officials said was the largest daytime assembly of ships since the 2003 Iraq war.

U.S. Navy officials said Iran had not been notified of plans to sail the ships, which include two aircraft carriers, through the Straits of Hormuz, a narrow channel in international waters off Iran's coast and a major artery for global oil shipments.
