since bin ladin is a wealthy oil sheik why was'nt his money not docked or simply taken from him if he has so much to fund attacks against the u.s.a. instead of the u.s.a. using ladin's funds?inquiring minds would like to know.

I don't recall reading or hearing that bin laden or his family were big in oil, or even in the oil business. As I recall, bin Laden's wealth was made in construction.
I'm inclined to believe that bin Laden had his money safely tucked away and out of reach of prying eyes, before he started his attacks on the world community !

Because the Bin Laden family had disowned Osama over a decade ago.
Besides - his family made their money in the construction industry during the Saudi construction boom in the 1980's with the collapse of this industry in Saudi Arabia they are no longer that rich.
